Diarrhoea Stops Play

Hi All

Your advice please. I’ve been planning a meet with a lovely man from here who has been travelling recently. He arrived home from Dubai on Friday but had developed diarrhoea so we moved our Saturday meet to Sunday. On Sunday he was still suffering so we delayed again until today. This morning he was still feeling unsure so I said I’d rather delay, especially since we’d have been getting up close and personal! The NHS advises staying away from work for 48 hours in such instances.

What would you have done and when? Do you think I’m crazy and have overreacted?

Thanks All

quite simply...no.

You are advised to be clear for 48 hrs before returning to normal activities.

He may well have some virus that he can pass on to you so I think you are doing the right thing

Agreed.

Unfortunately, sometimes things get in the way of plans.

Health first, over meets.

48 hrs from the last episode to return to work. I wouldn't be getting naked with people at work so I'd be even more cautious around someone who's bodily juices I'd be sharing. I'd give it a week.

You’re not overreacting. When he told me he was feeling poorly I’d have cancelled and told him to get in touch when he was feeling better.

It's an unfortunate experience for both of you. But I wouldn't want anyone to play with who may have had this in the last week. It's great he was honest, even if not planning strap on or rimming to be done to him. Post-travel overseas brings in potential complications that aren't good news.

He'd be better resting and getting his health optimised.

Plenty of dry food, (toast is very good) will help absorb, which helps to control fluid intake and rest

Absolutely not!

He shouldn't even be suggesting meeting until he is feeling 100%

He's putting you at risk of 1 potentionally catching a virus and 2 shitting on your bed haha x
