We had a really nice meet with a single guy but since he has messaged asking us to contact our friends and arrange meets for him ( which we would never do ) and seemed to get annoyed that we won't , we know from a couple of our friends he's since contacted them but are now worried it looks bad on us ( since we found out we've hidden our friends list on here just incase it happens again ) any advice ? Do we contact our friends and check or just leave him to it and say good luck ?

That's a chance you take when you publish friends names and verifications.

I think verifications should be anonomous, but that's just my personal view.

It happened to us too.

Just contact your friends and put them in the picture.

Contact your friends and arrange meets for him. Don't be so lazy.

One of the reasons why I hide my friends lists and verifications.

Yes I think we've learnt that one friends list well and truly hidden now ! Most of our veri's are from guys so that's not too much of a issue and the few couples we've contacted x

It works exceptionally well, and can certainly recommend it

We have been contacted in past by people who have met guys we have and it really annoys me. Just because we got on well with a guy and left him a smashing veri does t mean we would want to meet someone else just because we have same taste in guys

I find it lazy as they obviously assume because we have verified a guy they know us genuine we are obviously genuine so ing out time wasters yet they obviously don't read our profile as says we not looking

In The North

Pretty much the same reason why I hide mine, as yesterday, someone I have never spoken to on here, took it upon himself to contact a meet through a verification I left for her. He then tells her that he has known me for a while because he was coming my way from London, I said he could contact her and arrange a meet with... Imagine my surprise when the person I met told me that....

I had one person use our veri list almost as a 'shag-shopping list' for her - she used it to contact people on there about meeting up.

Suppose I could have taken it as a sort of compliment...

Tbh, I wouldn't call him lazy, I'd say he's a pillock!!

And you should contact all on your friends list and suggest they block him, before he even gets to them!

It's eejits like him who give the decent guys a bad name!

I think verifications should be anonymous too, the fact that they aren't is a reason I don't show them. I just don't think it's discreet for anyone and everyone to see who I've been seeing.

As for the friends list being used like a shopping list by some others on here, I've had that done to me so no longer show them. I've also had some grief in the past from someone that didn't 'like' me being friends with someone that wouldn't meet them!

I get annoyed when people think that because they've met me once that I will then team up with them and arrange meets as a couple

Especially since they want me to do the arranging!

We don't meet single guys so have them blocked but a local couple we've met do meet single guys.

The woman of the couple told us that guys, who know she and her husband have met us, ask them to try to fix up a date for them with us.

Whats that all about?
