Subjects been done too many times I’m afraid. Shame though, I always like seeing positivity about circumcision because there’s often too much negativity surrounding it.

If the man has an erection then unless he has a medical problem there is no difference as the foreskin retracts (is streched) as the penis enlarges.

The negativity is principally around when it is done for cultural rather than medical reasons. If a boy/man needs it done, then fair enough. If it's forced onto a child because the parents want it done for whatever reason, a growing number of people find that repellent.

I've never really understood the idea of having a "preference" for it. Nobody has ever told me they have a preference for people who have had any other body part chopped off. Why that bit? I think it is because it has been so normalised and accepted that some cultures do it. I think it's right to push back against that normalisation, but I certainly don't want anybody to be body-shamed. I have a problem with the attitude and the practice, not the people who have had it done.

I was medically circumcised. Anyone getting it done to their child for non medical reasons should be locked up imo. Ritual genital mutilation is abhorrent and no dr would do it to a child unless medically necessary

This has now got me to thinking, having had to do a child protection courses there is alot about FGM witch is horrific might I just add, and how that practice is illegal, but why is circumcision allowed for other reasons then medical? I know FGM is far worse but circumcising a baby is still taking the choice of having a foreskin or not away from that baby.

It depends far more on the man, than what his equipment is

I'm more interested in the man than the penis.

Don't care if cut or not.

Like others, I feel very strongly on doing it to a baby for any reasons other than medically essential ones.

However that it not the man's fault and I wouldn't hold it against him.

No comment on reasons good or bad for getting it done but often a circumcised cock looks a lot better especially when soft or semi. Just prettier Uncut semi hard cocks can often look a bit like a sea slug

Exactly this! This topic has been over done but I don’t understand why? If I opened a thread on FGM would it get the same responses?

Well I don’t feel like I’ve been mutilated really and it brings some pleasure. I’m certainly happy to be as I am. Now a mutilated fanny doesn’t really bring any benefit and can be quite yuck in my very limited first hand experience. Quite clear some prefer a cut cock whereas can’t say the same for a fanny, well not in UK at least. Wrongs and rights aside guess that is why it comes up a lot relatively

You need to do a bit more homework

Interestingly enough on your last point FGM is categorised into 4 different broad levels.

The least invasive levels are substantially less invasive than male circumcision, but still illegal.

So the generalisation that "I know its far worse" is only partially true.
