What do you mean by not seem to work? Biggest issue is getting one the right size - just enough to squeeze but not so tight that uncomfortable and dangerous. You can get metal and rubber/silcone ones in all different sizes. Rubber is more forgiving and you can buy sets of three in different sizes. Alternatively experiment with rubber bands or hair bands.

What were your expectations?

What would you like to happen when wearing one?

Seem to be popular with gay men, I am not a fan and generally ask guys to remove them along with piercings but hey ho each to their own..
