First meet location...

Hi, sorry if the subject has been discussed before I did have a quick search but couldn't find something on the subject.

Is it weird to want the first meet to happen in a pub? there's a quiet one just down my street, perfect for first meet to check out whether there's chemistry before going back to mine, however a few guys just won't meet there - is that too much to ask?

J.

If they won't meet there then move on to someone that will

It's a safe and sensible thing to do

Manchester and that's all you need to know

Only meet where you want as that will make you feel safe relaxed and comfortable.

If a man doesn't like it then that's his loss

If a guy wont meet in a pub and help put you at ease then tell them to get lost.

The only problem I see is the landlord might gossip about you always having a different fella ha ha

Not to much to ask and very sensible. We always arrange a social meet in a pub before a play meet.

I meet wherever we both feel comfortable. Whether that is a local coffee house, Tesco's or back at her/their place.

We usually know a fair amount about each other before we meet.

OP - as a woman meeting on her own, unless you love living dangerously, just make sure it's somewhere public with other people around.

What cali said, most of my best meets have started in a pub. It's a good way to relax and have fun.

first meet is always in a pub or some other neutral location for us, it reduces the possibility of hooking up with a psycho but doesn't rule it out because some psychos hide it well

Had my first meet last week and after getting to know them via text etc I agreed to meet them

My choice was a pub 15 mins away from$ my house and they didn't have a problem driving over 30 miles to do so

Safety first is a big must for me being a singleton

thats no excuse to not meet in a pub as we have never been in a pub yet that doesnt sell soft drinks and most now sell tea or coffee to cater for the driver

My faves are some of the chain coffee shops.

They're usually busy but have sofas so you can have a close and private chat and the staff are not trying to make friends with the customers.

I have had more than one meet in a day at one at a big shopping centre near me and no-one looked twice!

As others have said if someone is not happy to meet in a public place then wish them well and move on - safety first! I even ask people staying in hotels to meet me in the bar first - in one day I met two guys with totally fake pics and one with out of date ones!

I always meet somewhere neutral first. Normally a pub coz I love me cider . But have met at a cinema , bowling alley , golf club , restaurant , milkshake shop , ice rink , football match (Lincoln I know but still there was a Football there) and going to meet at a zoo today .

Never never go straight for the sex it makes it dull and meaningless .

For a first meet it's perfect and it's a great way to make sure there is chemistry between you both and if they don't want to meet there then they were probably not going to meet you anywhere

First meet should be where ever you feel most comfortable, if they are unhappy with your option which is perfectly reasonable it's their loss babe don't meet them x

I don't drink but always arrange a meet for a chat in a pub. It's good to know a few that have quiet corners lol

If someone won't meet you at a pub, suggest your local club, it'll cost them a lot more to gain entry than you !

Met some in bars etc.

Best though was going for a walk as random as that sounds in a Yorkshire village.

Public but discrete.

We still pop out now to meet for a walk get some fresh air.

No dogging nonsense..far too cold brr.

Surely the whole thing about swinging is making new friends with a shared interest - I always meet at a public place, or failing that invite couples to my flat and sit and have a drink first, getting to know people and showing an interest in them is all part of it - The "ring the bell n fuck" scene just seems tacky & dis-respectful and i avoid it like tha plague.

Thankfully all the couples who i am close to are like me and enjoy a natter and drink etc beforehand, so if a guy can't show you the respect of meeting in a public place you feel safe in, thats his loss and he doesnt deserve to meet you

The whole thing about is swinging is that everybody is DIFFERENT. We are very much fuck and go merchants. Sorry if that seems tacky to you but it's what we get off on and it works for us. We aren't here to find friends to do basket weaving with, we are here for sex

(She/ her) in Sensualityland

For safety and sanity I would only ever have a first meeting in a public place, pub, cafe etc.

I have also stated before that I would meet socially to begin with to see if there is enough common ground as I really like the social side of things and if I cant talk to, laugh or communicate with the person(s) then I would not enjoy sex with them. Different strokes for different folks I guess
