Hey Swingers,

After speaking with a lady who was filling me in about the site, she told me a lot of guys make fake profiles pretending to be women or in relationships to try n get meets with other women. I'm not sure if this is a stupid question but is it known that gay/bi sexual men will also make fake profiles pretending to be women to meet up with other men too?

Or a transvestite not telling you what they are and you not finding out until you meet etc. Is this kind of thing common? I'm just a bit concerned after some of the things I've heard and read now as I wouldn't want my time wasted as I'm not readily available so my time is limited.

One more thing, when looking at profiles what's the most re-assuring thing? Cause I've seen some profiles where it says verified by others but no published verification comments, I just wondered if someone could make a fake profile and then verify the original profile to make them look legit?

As you can see I'm quite nervous about this all going horribly wrong lol

Trust your gut feelings, if its feels fake or wrong to you then chances are it probably is.

You've come on this site, expect to have your time wasted at some point.

Yes there are single men posing as couples/women. Never heard of a tranny not being up front about it, but its

possible. Only someone with a verification already can verify another member, so its difficult to create 2 profiles and verify them. Some people don't want their verifications shown for privacy.

Its down to your judgement wether you meet someone or not. Wether you want to see pics first, veris, proof they're not bi/gay/tranny. Up to you. But you might arrange to meet a wonderful woman with pics and verifications and she'll still let you down at the last minute because that's life. There's no guarantees.

This may sound harsh but you need to protect yourself. Treat every profile as false until you meet the person behind it. Expect to be led on lied to and for them not to turn up at an agreed meeting that way if they do turn up its a huge bonus.

From previous threads on the subject there are a few rules you can follow to minimise (note the word used. You can't totally know until you meet).

1) always assume anyone is a middle aged sweaty fat guy wanking at home by himself until proved otherwise.

2) speak to them on the phone or via webcam - harder to fake than with a pic

3) if it looks too good to be true, it PROBABLY is - e.g. Model quality pics, 18 year old catholic virgin schoolgirl etc.

4) arrange to meet somewhere neutral, pub/coffee shop etc so if they aren't who they claimed then you aren't locked in a room with them.

5) if you are worried about pic collectors then check your photos and decide if any naughty ones would be embarrasing to you e.g. If you've got your full name/address tattooed on your head and it's clearly visible in explicit pics.

6) I don't have much experience of tv/ts's but i'd assume that they would be trying to find people into that sort of thing rather than fool someone.

If the profile looks genuine with pics, profile looks individual and they're verified by a few people then that's the first step.

If you get talking to someone and work towards getting each other's number and texting I find pic exchange adds more to it being real. Such as taking a pic as you're talking rather than sending an old pic.

Then talk on the phone. Maybe even use facetime or skype just for that added security that you are actually talking to that person.

I have suffered the time wasters on here and am now very hard to get a meet with.

I only meet people I have got to know and anyone who wants to meet must speak to me on the phone first.

Profiles with no pictures and very little description I just dont bother with anymore, trust your instincts basically I did one night and ended up being taken dogging for my very first time and it was amazing!!

there is one guy on here and im amazed he still is.. he claims to be 14 inches but the pics he sends are very obviously different cocks.. even with a few being black and when i questioned this he said it was sunburn lol

i played him for a while and when he showed on cam he would only show the bulge in his pants until finally he showed his blue peter effort of makign a bulge lol.. then a while later i found him in the cam rooms and asked him how his kitchen roll was doing and he denied everything.. said he had verifications, which he did, but all from the same female account of a female account that only had verifications off him lol.. the problem with verifications is someone can veryify u have seen them on cam.. but none of those will prove his 14 inches! none of the 2 webcam verifications mentioned his cock.. i dont know what he thinks he is achieving? away with the fairies i think lol

OP - interesting the order in which you list your concerns.. Gay, Bi, Trannie..? Wonder what it is you are really worried about, to be honest.

As for your other question, there is no one single answer. It is down to learning - and learning FAST - about how to spot potential trouble before it happens. You almost develop a flowchart in your mind about it.

In the specific example you ask about (hidden veris) our 'flowchart' would work like this:- Veris on display? Check Veris. Veris by meeting? Yes, so talk to them about possible play on 1st meet.

But... Veris not on display? Only talk about social meet first....

Like someone else said, you only know the profile is real when you actually meet the person(s) behind it. Even a phone call or cam can be misleading. If you are genuinely that worried, then take things slowly and always err on the side of caution and your safety.

I think you're over worrying your fears here. Yes, there are fakes, but not as many as people seem to think I reckon.

Exchange messages and pics first, maybe chat on the phone. Take your time. Real couples and ladies are rarely in a rush to meet and will want to suss you out first anyway.

The bad ones and fakes stand out a mile normally. Trust your gut feelings and don't be afraid to ask questions if you are unsure.

Hi all, whilst we are on the subject of fake profiles, I know of one. A few months ago a new female member joined. She was the same age as me and lived quite local, we exchanged a few emails and pics. She sent me a friend request which I accepted. More emails were exchanged. I hadnt chatted to her for a few weeks so I clicked onto her profile to send her an email. Her name has changed, shes 20 years younger, she now lives a further 50 miles away and the pics on her profile are of a completely different female! Her user name is still the same, and im still on her friends list! I sent her an email, it was deleted without a reply! WTF!

I recently had a similar experience but he ended up nicking my photos and putting them on his profile. I suspect most of his meet photos were obtained the same way. I messaged him but he blocked me and I have no idea if reporting his profile got my photos removed.

Bit of a bugger really. First proper fake I'd come across in two years on this site.
