"Hi all, Looking at organising our first meet up with another couple, we’re going to book a hotel but I actually don’t know how many beds would need to be in a room if both couples are playing! Please advise. Thankyou " Is this without a social, because I'm sure you could discuss sleeping arrangements with them then you'll know how many beds would be needed unless they booked a room in the same hotel as well

"Thankyou. There’s family sized rooms with a double and single. We’re hoping for a full swap, playing with each other. Planning on booking and then finding a couple to come play" Surely it makes more sense to find a couple before you book a room? You can book a room for any night in 2 minutes flat but finding a compatible couple? Don’t know why but this doesn’t seem right to me. Good luck.

"OP your profile mentions that you are relatively new. Make sure that you have had a social with them or at least a video cam with both of them. In the past I made the mistake of meeting a couple, but only the man turned up cos "he knows what his wife likes and needed to try me 1st" you'll all be fine on a double bed, premier inns king size are perfect. Enjoy yourselves x " Total chancer what did you say to him? KJ

Find a compatible couple first, then worry about booking a room. Also, many couples prefer to have some sort of social first rather than jumping into bed straight away. As how are you going to know if there is mutual attraction and chemistry otherwise? It would be devastating if you arranged to meet, they both turned up to your play date but then chose not to stay and play.

"Sorry to hijack the thread! If a couple want to meet a single male in a hotel, do they just book a normal double room, turn up then the 3rd person turn up shortly afterwards? Would this cause an issue with the hotel staff at check in?" We book the room and meet our guest in the bar, have a drink and then all just head off to the room together. It’s never been an issue but I suppose it may depend upon the hotel. We tend to use larger well known chain hotels.
