I’m a slim cross dresser I dress fully and I’m totally smooth from hairline to toes. But when I wear make up it’s hard to hide my male features jaw line cheek bones etc. any recommendations on best way to hide my very little masculine face. Body is quite feminine anyway

If you've seen shows like RuPaul's Drag Race, it is amazing what you can do with makeup and hair...

But a quick tip is to use Dermablend (stage makeup) to cover your beard shadow. Just Google Dermablend and you can buy online or to get a professional colour match, pop into their shop in Covent Garden... The girls there are used to TV shopping for makeup so super friendly. Go as boy or girl, they won't miss beat...

I'd not use botox for this.

Alot would use filler. This is for transsexuals though. To give them more feminine features and who are going through surgery.

Best bet is youtube and practicing.

Most of all remember to have fun with it.

Also cheap brands of makeup can be just as good as the brand names.

I like elf and makeup revolution they are easy to buy in superdrug, wont break the bank and you can see the shade in person.

One of them do a shade match online with your camera to gauge which would be yours.

Wigs lace front are the best.

Amazon have good ones for starting out £30-£50.

Always check reviews and pics as you can see what they actually look like.

A Bob wig is great for someone with a more masculine appearance. I have met plenty of Tgirls who do have to hide their manly features but as advised previously YouTube is a great asset.

My other suggestion is a dressing service however these can be quite expensive or maybe just go and chat with the makeup girls at Boots. It maybe scary but they’ve seen it all and will help pick out your skin colour for blending in.

Dermablend makeup is used in the theatrical world as well, so another good idea.

Good luck Op, a slim girl will attract more looks at her body, but being happy with how you look and feel is just as important.

I always go for face framing wigs with bangs that are just below the shoulder

A leather collar is very sexy and hides the Adam’s apple well and feels very kinky to wear as it looks sexy!

Make up wise I use Maybelline mouse matte foundation in sun bronze as it’s easy to apply not runny and a great concealer. Brush on for best effect. I love their lip gloss too

Can get transformed in minutes with this and top it up as I go

Also big girly sunglasses are a great addition to hide the eyes as you won’t need to fiddle with mascara and eye shadow plus offer a bit of protection If you get splattered by ah excited lover

Try and find a beauty salon who will see a t girl. I found 8 up this way willing to help me with very useful tips and do full make overs. I know it's a confidence thing doing it this way but it's never ever stopped me and it never will xx

Just to add to the posts - read up and watch YouTube videos for make up help, and for the first few times you try with make up, don't buy anything expensive - Tesco or asda own brand will do fine whilst youre learning and will save you a lot of money whilst you're working out what goes with your natural skin colour.

Best advice I can give is to pop to the shops, buy everything you need (and a few packets of face wipes!), then have a night in front of YouTube with a glass of wine and practice lots....like try something, see how it looks, take it off, try again, and again, and again.

It'll take a while for you to work out what works best for your face....all you need is time and patience. Good luck!

I’ve always learnt my best techniques by chatting to other guys. At bars or clubs.

Clubs with good changing areas are great places to watch and learn.

SheWorld London.

KinkysCloset Glasgow.

ClubPlay Blackpool.

And a few others inbetween.

YouTube is a good shout. My favourite make up tips.

Contouring. Orange correcter. Blusher. But subtle!! Dark eye make up. False lashes. Setting spray.

Oh. And get a wig that really suits your face shape and look.

I nearly forgot the most important tip. Enjoy it. Relax. Have fun and you’ll look great.

Best advice - go for a make over with a make up artist that specialises in M to F transformations. It is amazing what they can do and you also learn from them.
