Norfolk/Suffolk Border

Hi We love the idea of caravan swinging, so are looking for our first caravan. We are looking for a 4 berth with a fixed bed, max weight 1400kg has anyone got one they want to sell? More then happy for you to show us the lay out. Looking to pay about £5,000 max to see if we like it

eBay is very good for this type of thing or nip along to a local caravan site, they have ads for these ..... Or go to a gypsy site and squat ??

Not sure what sort of load beds are rated for - probably not 1400kg though

Using your caravan for intimate liaisons is nice though - more so in summer than this time of year (although it does mean you get to snuggle under the duvet real quick before things heat up a lot).

Use a bottle/scissor jack and some planks of wood to reinforce the bed.

Caravans do have heating you know!! Writing this sitting in mine with the thermostatically controlled heating at a comfortable 20 degrees!

Yes, I know - but it takes a while to heat up from v. cold. No point waiting....

Whatever you do, don't buy a Hobby. Stunning caravans but pikeys follow you everywhere. They've even tried to rob ours twice out of storage. Biggest mistake I've made in 12 years of caravaning.

Would be a little caravan to tow behind a bike...

Have to stick to the tent....

Not good in November though

I have friends who own a Dandy and were prepared to lend it.

It's one of these fold out contraptions you can tow behind just about anything and it's always a conversation starter.

Many a happy night

Good luck with your caravan swinging - we've had quite a few 4somes in others' caravans, and one memorable 6some. During one 4some we broke a caravan bed, which suddenly collapsed when things were getting a bit intense, to the amusement of all concerned!

We now have a camper-van which sadly isn't big enough for 4 playing together. We use the same system we employed while tenting - two inside in action, the other two sunbathing outside, watching, taking photos etc.
