Hi just wondering from an experience we had, I know it’s an easy process to get photo verified but can that said person then go an upload pics that look nothing like her verification photo ?

Yes.. ive seen profiles that have been photo verified using multiple internet stolen pics all of different people

All your verification photo does is prove you are a man/woman/couple and matches what you say you are. After that you can upload what you like, and some are economical with the actualité.

We’ve had the same experience recently. I guess they think that once you’re chatting you won’t notice the total change in appearance.

Total waste of time and puts you off contacting people.

It should certainly be the kind of thing we can report, I mean it’s one thing wanting to meet the bloke from ten years ago and finding time has not treated him well when meeting face to face, it’s another entirely when a completely different person turns up.

Can u imagine the amount of photos that get uploaded every hour im sure the pic mods cant check every pic, thats where you come in and use ur gut instinct.. i reverse image search most pics

There's thousands of pictures uploaded every day. I don't think admin have time to cross reference them with a verification photo

Sorry this post wasn’t about you in particular but other members do have face pics in friends only so wouldn’t really be hard would it.

I understood it wasn't about me specifically, thanks!

My point was that many (most) pics across the site don't have the verified bit (face) in them, and thus cannot be cross-referenced.

In which case, cross referencing the face pics is less worthwhile - checking a minority (and presumably only sample checking even then) is not going to address the underlying problem of Internet pics (of all body parts) being used.

How would you know they look completley different from their veri pic? They are hidden unless you chose to have it public?

I understand that, and admin dont have time to cross reference all the pics that get uploaded with each account. It was as they said from an experience they had how they knew the pics were different people, unless like i said they made their veri pic public which most dont. Im just nosey is all lol
