I suppose I can understand why some people prefer not to have dozens of veris on their profile - don't want to appear promiscuous perhaps? My question is, why do some simply avoid leaving verifications altogether? I've met two ladies on here that just don't do it as a rule. One of them I've known for 5+ years now and met over a dozen times - she's never left a verification for anyone, says she's not on here to validate other people! Is it just the promiscuity worry again or something else?

Fab is quite predatory

Some women are threatened by other women and get too protective over their meets. There is a lot of jealousy on here unfortunately

I know some women on here that literally ban their meets from meeting certain other women

Could be that maybe ?

It’s not just a female thing in my experience.

I’ve known guys that won’t want a veri, they have a few as proof of trust etc but few veris.

I’ve been turned down by a few people on FGs as too many but if you read them, there are a few friends on there several times. It halves it.

If someone goes to a party, club etc & plays with 5-10 people but only get veris from 2-3, is that untruthful? Not in my mind. It’s life on fab & swinging. I find it’s a balance of the type of verification, the Nos & how that person or couple treats you. Other people may have other criteria too.

Maybe because they don't want their private life splashed over a website for all to see.

I get the feeling that some men are here just for the verifications.

Someone was a bit miffed that I didn't verify him, even though he already had quite a few.

Don't want to appear promiscuous on a swinging site? Dozens over 2 weeks maybe, dozens over a few years wouldn't be. That's strange she's never left you a verification considering so many like to see genuine veris. Yet if she doesn't have verifications her profile may not look genuine. Very strange.

Veris don't bother me. I've met guys with none and guys with plenty.

The indepth detailed veris make me cringe as do guys asking me to verify them when they have plenty and multiple veris from the same person. I don't see the point.

Thankfully the people who have left mine are well aware of this and you can rarely tell if it was a social or play meet.

People make out it’s all fine and good meeting whoever you please in the bane of swinging but definitely a lot with underlying issues of people meeting others in case they are better / hotter / whatever

It's not just ladies, I dont want them either. I also have a couples profile with my girlfriend that is the same. We like the degree of privacy that affords. Both profiles only have very early veri's. There have been some people who grumble but overall it makeovers little difference to our fab lives...

The slight difficulty with "too many" is that it's impossible to tell whether the number was achieved over 366 days or 25 years - both will show as "over a year" on the profile.

I don't know if this applies to other people but I know we have been subjected to people playing games with us by looking in a person's veris then clicking through to us and making contact with us, not because they want to meet us, because they want to play mind games. Ie we met someone who had recently broken ties with a fwb because, according to him, she had developed feelings. Luckily I knew who she was because people will write in their profiles I also have a couple profile, then in their couple profile it displays their single profile names so having looked at his 'couple' profile i had seen her name so when she made contact within a week of meeting him I knew she had an ulterior motive. It could put me off verifying (but hasn't yet)

I rarely show my veris or the summary,

I've had jealous males and females send some awful messages sent to me regarding people I've met.

I really hate this side of fab.

I do read single men's veris, just to get a gist of what they are like.

Sooo many veris are like.. met this lovely guy at Club xxxx..we chatted..love to see him again sometime- honestly does that even count!

I'm conscious of veris being used like a paper trail..for nosey arses..but sooo true in my opinion. Then you hear people meet leave a great veri..but are then heard to say they didn't have a good meet and wouldn't meet again- quite a minefield. They are good to get new Fabbers off the ground though probably their best purpose.

Another issue with them..

After meeting a female or couple and publishing them, I've later wondered why I not heard from some of then again.

Turns out others were contacting the verifier and told them what a 'bad' character I was.

I stopped publishing due to this.
