Hi. We are totally new to this and are currently looking though all the DM. Really we'd like a man to join us but it's hard to know who's legitimate or not.

From experience, are we better looking for a single man, or a couple who are after a woman and Mr can watch/join in with her and the other man?

Bit of a midfield out there. Should we just go to a club and take it from there? Would love to hear others thoughts.

Whoever you go for the basic rules apply, check verifications and recent activities. There are timewasters in all groups, single men, couples, women.

As suggested above, clubs probably best for you to start, many genuine people who are interested in meet and play will be put off by your lack of veris.

Personally I’d be wary looking for couples if you’re only really interested in the male half. You’ll get a lot of fake couples that are just single man messaging you.

OP, it depends on what you consider genuine.

Most single men profiles are actually men, but may be attached or not actually brave enough to meet.

For others, trust your instict. Wanting sex chat and photos suggests a man after wank material, not a meet.

I also think clubs are the best option for you. You can socialise and experience the scene with no expectations of having sex of any sort with anyone else.

I'm a male who started off on the scene as a single male and am also part of a couple with my Fiancée (who I likewise meet on the scene). So I have the benifit of seeing both sides.

First of all I'm not too sure what you mean by genuine. There are fakes and time wasters but these exist as both accounts. But on the whole a lot of people don't just jump into bed with everyone they talk to and as conversation progresses can change their mind.

As a couple we find it difficult to find the prefect connection and attraction with another couple. We find it easiest with singles and even easier with a single ladies (which I guess is logical). But then we are a bit picky and fickle. This means we don't get a lot of action but when we do it's normally incredibly hot.

Totally recommend club. In fact I/we don't really use fab for meeting people, we use clubs and events. Mainly because it's hard to gauge attraction and connection online. You can waste a lot of time online only to find when you meet in the real world you don't fancy them. On the flip of that I/we've met people who we've totally not taken to on Fab but in the real world turns out their great. At a club you cut out the bs and simply meet new people face to face in a safe neutral environment. Face to face you can all judge attraction and connection pretty soon. If all works great you have the option then and there to take it to another room. If not you move on and talk to some of the other couples and singles, no wasted evening. And of course there is also the prospect of maybe having more than one sexual encounter with different people on the same night. So yes totally recommend clubs.

If you’re looking for a man, please don’t approach a couple*. How would you feel if your partner was invited for a threesome and not you? There’s plenty of decent solo blokes around.

And yes, absolutdly try a club - specifically a greedy girls event, maybe.

* There are couples who are ok with this, or who actively get off on one of them playing without the other. In general though, couples profiles are for people who want to swing together.

Personally I’d head to a club and chat to a few, unfortunately there are few and far between genuine single profiles on here, don’t get me wrong they are out there but personally for your first experience I’d meet someone in person in a club and not waste time with someone that may just end up wasting yours on here after a few experiences then go for it as there are some lovely guys on here.

What do you mean legitimate?

There is a real person behind every profile. Unlike many dating type sites, Fab don't have fake profile bots to entice people to pay to join the site.

If Merhanian is correct only 7% of communication is through spoken word.

If you go to a club, one, you will know if they are real and two, fill in the ninety three percent to ensure a great connection.

There are so many single guys on here... But even the most gorgeous and wonderful women and couples have horror stories about a single guy doing a no-show.. Even ones who are verified, and seem to be legit. I'd agree with the club option being by far the easiest way to meet anybody.. But at the same time, the first time you visit a club as a couple can be a bit weird (We went on a fairly quiet Saturday, not an event.. And had about ten guys trailing after us wherever we went.. You have to do what you feel comfortable with ultimately.

It's a friendly place and you'll obviously meet genuine people, plus at your own pace. You may even meet the person you want to meet again later!

I would agree with the majority, take the club route. And just because you may go it doesn't mean you're commited to do anything, take your time, settle in and find your feet. Even if it takes a few visits, most of the couples ( not all ) I have met with and talked to at the clubs and socials have a common theme, it's difficult to find genuine people and even more so finding other couples due to there needing to be a 4 way attraction. Your profile looks great, pictures too look good, you won't be short of offers and I'm sure you will find the right man for you both

OP your nearest clubs are Townhouse on the Wirral and No3 in Chorley, both are great clubs, have a look at both their websites and visit them with a view not to play but see the lay of the land. We're new ourselves and full only swapped a couple of times. We did try to find someone for a private meet but ending up biting the bullet and going to a local club.

If you've not swapped before it may be better to go to a club first. Perhaps plan a weekend away in the area where a club is so if you don't like it you can do other things?

Our biggest worry was meeting a couple who were new like us who might have a a partner turn weird when it came down to actually swapping. Luckily not happened thus far.

Take your time, if it doesn't feel right, it's not right.

We know we were all newbies once but so far the biggest timewasters have been new couples... especially those who have been on here for months and still have no veris, we have heard all sorts of excuses like Covid, we are returning blah blah. Thankfully the ones who turned weird did so before meeting, we now avoid new people with no activity timeline.

The point being made here is that it’s likelier that the fake profiles are single men who will pose as either more appealing single men, women or couples in an attempt to get a fuck or - worst case scenario - some wank material be that via messages or pics etc.

Not saying it isn’t possible, but I can’t imagine many women or couples being bothered with all that, to be honest.

I personally would meet at a club that's if they turn up, its a hard one. I only meet mostly at club,when I can get to go but I have had few socials at pubs etc.but only with genuine feed back .

As single and genuine guy I’d sure say there are more genuine single guy then couple accounts. Most of fakers create single lady or couple account as these have much more attention here.

If you see a guy with a bit of bio, mix of face and body pics, few or none cock pics - he is most definitely genuine and real. Us, these kind of guys, have our preferences and usually not spending all our time here so there is a good chance of no response or polite no. Same applicable to all genuine account of single

Lady, couples etc.

Bit of a minefield.

Single men are more than likely men, single or otherwise but probably 75% of people on here are timewasters.

For us, it was clubs initially or just meet up for a social drink with a couple or single, with no play.

If people are happy with your request, brilliant. If not, also fine.

Be upfront and honest, you'll get caught out if not.

We enjoy club visits but the single guys can be very hit and miss.

Very few single guys seem to know how to approach couples and we often just end up being followed around by men with seemingly few social skills.

We’ve had some successful hotel meets off fab but we have put some “rules” in place now after our early mistakes.

Guys must be well verified or recommended and must be prepared to have a social meeting with us first and be prepared to move the conversation to WhatsApp or message early.

We use a burner phone too of course.

We have met some genuine people on here but to be fair they are few and far between! Clubs are great for meeting people and we prefer it as sometimes chatting on here is great but meet and no chemistry at all or people weve chatted to and thought weren't for us have turned out to be great meets! X
