Just curious do couples prefer to meet other couples rather than fwb couples? Just curious to know and the reasons behind it.

Oh yeah of course I get that everyone has their preference was just curious. We’ve chatted to people happy to meet and others that say they prefer couples. Was just wondering why some won’t x

when we used to meet couples via fab we stayed clear of fb/fwb

now we only meet couples in clubs we still stay clear of them in ur early swinging days we had nothing but probs

We prefer to meet long term couples as we think they're more likely to have a solid relationship. But then we could meet a couple in a club and they may be FWBs for all we know.

Same reason some won't meet based on anything else - personal preference.

We met on here, became FB's and have been married for the best part of 7 years now.

We're the same people we've always been but had someone said no to us when we weren't married it wouldn't have bothered us.

I've personally known FB couples that were more secure and stable than some long term married ones.

If only we had the choice. We don't seem to get any interest from any couples at all (probably because we don't full swap) but if we did, then we'd maybe be a bit more concerned that a FWB couple might be more likely to cancel as there might be more chance that one of them has to cancel.

We takes couples as we find them. If they work well together (you get a vibe) and work for us their specific background isn't important. We are there for our enjoyment with people we fancy. To be fair we tend to do our swinging in clubs and no need to ask such questions.

Circumstances are the key for us. If you’re committed to each other, even if you live apart, then that’s ok with us. We understand that personal circumstances restrict the choices you might otherwise make.

We’ve met some that are just flitting from one friend to another every few weeks/months but using the same Fab account. We don’t like that.

No, we won't meet Fb, or fwb. Got caught out with that before. Met a "fb" couple. Turns out they had never met each other before. He'd been chatting online with her. He'd picked her up to meet us, it was very akward.

I hear you. We have a similar problem in that we only want same sex play, no full swap. There always seems to be the caveat that the male half should be able to join in if he wants but I don't want any male contact except S. T x

We only meet couples as we have had experiences in the past where the fb/fwb hardly knew each other ,how are we all supposed to be on the same page when the couple we are playing with don’t even know each other’s boundaries and likes and dislikes .

That's good to hear. We're a genuine couple who don't live together for other reasons. We've had some couple who were very cautious about us. Not sure how we can prove we're a real couple sometimes ...

We’re yet to meet fwb but would prefer couples. Most the offers we get from “fwb” is ‘I know a girl who may be up for it’

It’s not as appealing plus it just make senses meeting a couple who’s agenda matches ours and not just an in to get in my knickers. Thou we can still get this with couples

We don’t mind. Be a bit hypocritical if we did as we were FWB for 3 years before getting together properly.

We’re currently long distance which some people don’t like. Each to their own i say.

I don't think we mind. We would want people to be reliable, and couples can often coordinate more easily that FWBs, especially if one or both are involved in other relationships. Reliability is much more a concern to us than the type of relationship two people have.

Of course everyone has and is entitled to their own preferences. To be fair when I was meeting cpls with a fwb most people I spoke to didn't seem to mind.

Like others have posted - if you meet in a club you're highly likely to not know anyway. What I did find slightly annoying is when I'd clearly state we were playing together as a cpl, and had a few trying to pick me off for ffm meets instead. Fair enough! But it wasn't what was being offered

We prefer other couples. I like the security of knowing they are in a secure relationship and there'll be no issues with jealousy, other partners, etc.

Plus, the social is a completely different vibe, in our experience.

Whats does it matter really? I mean lets face it, if the fwb couple decide to pose as a genuine couple; its highly likely no one would find out anyways. Not unless it became obvious by their lack of chemistry / connection.

Personally my only hesitation with fwb would be how promiscuous they are in their lives. Are they staking bed notches etc. But again thats a big assumption to make that fwb couples are more risky that anyone else. Because thats probably not the case.

But I suspect the real issue for some couples is their own insecurities, some couples purposely only play with other couples fearing that single guys / girls could hit on their partners etc maybe a higher risk of having an affair lol.

Thats my tired brain going at it lol. Damn insomnia!
