FabSwingers.com forum: Still trying to have first meet

So I’ve been on the site now for around a month or so and have had a few conversations. However many messages go unread or read and ignored and I’m not sure what I’m missing. Any advice on how I could better my profile or get a meet would be great !

That's not a surprise for every guy to get just one meet a year every lady would need to do a minimum 2 meets a week, there's just to many guys to ladies on this site so most men will be left disappointed

Unfortunately your age will also go against you, the average age on here is 40+ many will have children around your age making you off limits but if older ladies are your thing (do you really want to meet a 99yr old?) try a cougars and cubs night at your local club as that's specifically women looking fur younger guys

The best thing you can do is really use your page to promote yourself, update photos regularly make sure your profile shows you in the best light, why should someone meet you over the other 100 guys in their inbox

Engage in the forums, look for local social events, try a club get your name & face known (check entrance policy first as some clubs and socials have a lower age limit of 25)

If you put the work in you'll get rewarded unfortunately most people think this site is instashag so don't put enough effort in to get noticed

Your profile looks ok I'd suggest using the Feb picture as your main.whilst messages et read or not just remember not everyone will be a match so don't let this knock your confidence patience is one of the keys as well as what the previous has mentioned. On occasion put out a meet for a social without any expectations

You're a single guy, looking for a woman, so you're in the largest group, looking at one of the smallest groups.

You're young, which will make your target audience smaller still.

You've been on here barely 2 months.....

Go to organised fab socials and get verified, this will help people think you're making the effort and not just here for 5 minutes.

I agree with another comment that not being able to accommodate is off-putting. You could still be living with parents or have flat mates which is fine (for us anyway) but there's also the risk you're married and cheating which will worry some people (but not all)

Have you thought about meeting MF couples? If you really can't bear the thought then don't, but if you do open up that option on your profile be prepared for mixed results, I'm not saying you will be guaranteed a meet with an MF couple, I'm just suggesting you're limiting your options.

Other than that I agree with all the others that getting yourself to socials or to a club is the best option.

Most people are not mutually compatible with most other people. People here tend towards others who are established, so this means creating the right expectations for yourself and having patience.

There are many posts giving good tips and advice to single men. Usually they point towards having a profile that sells you and what you offer, rather than what you want. It's very competitive for single men here, many fall away.

Another key message is to get to clubs and socials, to get to know people.

I’ve been on for months but yep my profile is shit and I’m married so I just get abuse for being honest but keep trying go to socials and enjoy it’s not all about the meets it’s the taking part in the forums but yes a meet would be a bonus

You've just pretty much summed up your problem. Claiming to be honest by being saying your married and going behind your partners back is pretty much the opposite to being honest.

That is our honest opinion.

It's an interesting way to phrase it!

Do you think people are going hard on you because you're honest about your situation, or because you're lying to your OH? I'd guess it's the latter, but you'd have to ask some of the people you've received abuse from to know for sure.
