Hi all we are thinking of inviting someone to our hotel for some fun but not sure how that works.

Can anyone tell us if it's common place for coupes to have guests in their room. How easy is it to do and such

In a crisp poke on the A814

Easily done....

They can go straight to your room or you can meet them in bar...Either way its simple.

I really depends on the hotel...some its easy but some seem to have the reservation desk 'guarding' the lifts...at the end of the day though its your room for the night and short of wrecking the place you should be able to do what you want.

Bear in mind that some hotels, usually the budget ones, have a maximum number of people allowed in your room. They suggest it's for fire safety...

Etap only allow 3...

must be interesting doing a couples meet like that, rotating one person in and one out constantly like a substitute in sport !

If the other couple are not staying the whole night then it shouldn't be an issue how many folks you have in your room.

The worst pain in the ass we have found is in the more modern hotels where you have to use your room key to gain access to the lift or corridor to the rooms.

We had a gb in a new holiday inn in manchester and J had to go down in the lift to let the guys in and out. Luckily most arrived together but he did worry that he would have to leave me tied up and blindfolded with some random dude so he actually made him stand outside the room while he went down to let the others in lol

I've never had any problem with staff being suspicious or anything like that but I did check out of the Apex in Edinburgh early once after an afternoon of sublime fun only to find out they messed up the check-out and called me at work the next day, right in the middle of a meeting to try and sort it out.

In response to the OP, I think it depends on the hotel, size of lobby etc. I once met a couple in the Radisson Blu in Edinburgh and I walked in, straight to the lift and up to their room with no questions asked or even a raised eyebrow as they can't know everyone in the hotel.

Did meet a women in the Premier Inn at Haymarkat once and the lift needed the keycard so she had to come down to get me but it was certainly an interesting lift ride back up!

We've never had a problem either 'receiving guests' or going to a hotel to meet someone. We've had some amusing moments though, we're sure hotel staff know what's going on!

I wonder how many swingers invite the more attractive staff to join in?

Slightly off topic but we had a gb at a guys house and whilst I was having loads of fun J and the host were watching football and drinking. After the action I had a few drinks too When we left we went to a hotel and drank some more b4 falling asleep when I awoke in the morning J said We've lost your bag! The bag in question contained lingerie, lube, condoms, silk scarves, a blindfold and a vibrator

I sent J down to reception to see if we'd left it and the night receptionist had it

Needless to say I stayed put til the daytime staff came on duty lol xx

Working in hotels as I do - I'm on Night Management, I see all the goings on unfolding through the night!

Plus day time staff are only too well aware of what can be happening.

But from the thought of any staff being asked to join in, it's a risky move by the staff. Even in the biggest hotels, someone will soon be "missed" from duty and questions asked!

I have requested for an extra key card to be prepared for my meet to pick up from the reception at the Travelodge that I frequent in the past with no issues.

I had that at the Ibis Budget on Saturday but he was just checking names. He certainly didn't bat an eyelid at the nice young man I was taking up with me.

Lets hope its not an early bath....

Likewise; when you become comfortable with what you are doing then its all good. I get a text from a regular meet with the room number and make my way straight up. The door opens with the words "room service"...

I got another text once saying "Look up.." whereupon she flashed me from the window
