Profile advice please!

Profile/photo advice please! Been on-and-off fab for a while now, I don’t really get replies and when I do it’s mostly “not my type” and that they’re not attracted (or that they don’t like Asians). Any advice on photos that might get some replies? I don’t believe I’m terribly bad looking and I must be someone’s type.

Please please please no mean / negative comments!

I think it's a good profile with some nice pics. I can't see any reason other than the obvious - your age. A lot of people here are older than you, and a fair number will be old enough to be your mum.

Also remember that you have a lot of competition as men hugely outnumber women.

your a man thats your problem you are plentyful 100 to one and more joining every day .... also how can anyone advise you when no one knows you ?? unless you want a boring profile like all the others that ask ?? if you cant write a profile how the hell are you going to handle a meet

These threads are quite interesting to read. I like to think that anyone who stumbles across my profile would probably realise i just don't take myself seriously. I've only just started to make any effort to start posting in these forums and really need to make an effort to get to a social event just to say hello to people in the real world.

Thanks for the supportive comments.

I guess it’s on myself to a) focus on what I can better about myself (going to the gym/grooming/getting decent clothes), b) accepting that women just get bombarded with messages on here, and c) going to clubs and making myself a friendly face.

You’re a nice looking guy OP.

I can only see two potential problems.

1st; Your age, which you can’t do anything about

2nd; Announcing you’re back again. This puts us off profiles because it suggests you come and go off the site and aren’t really serious about meeting. Just our thoughts however and it might not bother others.

spot on reply op only you can get yourself notice only you know how much of this you want .... best of luck as others have said your a good looking man and clubs is a great idea to get to know the scene ...best of luck

Your profile is better than most on here as at least you've put a little effort in.

The 'too many men' explanation for lack of replies is a bit misleading in my opinion. Most women here are looking for connections too, what lets most men/couples down is the messages they send.

If I get a message that is crass, obvious copy/paste, shows rhey havent read my profile or is just plain dull I won't even bother looking at the senders pics or profile.

It's nothing to do with you personally or your ethnicity it's simply a numbers gane

There's 100 guys on here for every female meaning for every guy to get one meet a year every woman needs to be having at least 3 meets a week which lets face it is going to happen so most guys will be disappointed

The best thing you can do is try clubs or go to socials, it's so much easier to see if there's a connection face to face
