Being a single bloke on here obviously isn't easy to start with but I do struggle knowing what to say. In person I'm fine, I find conversation easy. But in written messages online I am totally lost. So I just try to be complimentary and respectful. Can anybody give me any tips on how to break the ice? Thanks

I feel your pain, I have the same problem but all I can say is keep positive and doing what you are. Being respectful and complimentary. Not that I’ve had much luck but every now and then you message some a polite intro and you just click.

Thanks, I thought it best to be respectful. Unfortunately with this mug I'm already at a disadvantage but I will keep plugging on

If your fine in real life, I'd focus on clubs & social events, make your connections that way rather than here

From a couples point of veiw, if that's your thing them always address them both and be polite but don't try to hard. It also depends on what your writing in your msgs...maybe an example would be good?

Just be yourself, say what you think, not what you think the person is wanting to hear. Don’t waffle, and don’t mention sex until they do. Try to end each message with a question, to keep the conversation going.

I found clubs to be extremely hard going as a single guy. They’re not the friendly, all-welcoming places they sell themselves as

OP....you're not a bad looking guy and you've managed at least one meet and got verified, so you've got over the first few hurdles.

You're obviously a man of few words, going by your profile, so can see that it might be difficult. But standard advice to anyone on here is to read the profile. Then read it again. If there's ANYTHING that means you're not a match, move on.

If you might be a match, find two things to ask about from the profile. Maybe someone's mentioned a hobby, pet, collection, etc. That'll show you've read it, that you're interested in them, and asking questions makes it easier to reply.

Good luck, and happy Fabbing.

(Bry)
