Hi all, we're new to the scene, and it's been exciting but quite nerve-wracking signing up and setting up our profile especially when people get in touch. All of a sudden it seems very real!

We've been talking about this for a while, and it's something we're both keen to explore, but it's also a big step for us to join up here, and we're just taking things slowly at the moment - chatting to a few people and seeing where it leads.

The thought of meeting in real life is still quite scary though - how did others get over those first time nerves? We're thinking that maybe going to a club (Le Boudoir) first will be a good way to ease ourselves into this before arranging a meet with someone, but any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Outside your prefered age range but thought we would reply here to say Hi. We are also very new and like you very nervous. It is a big step and very dauntung when all of a sudden your inbox is full of messages when your not ready to meet. Good luck and hope you have lots of fun.

Maybe bump into you at a club and have a drink and share stories.

I’d highly recommend starting at a club. You can chat to others who are a bit more experienced and just play with each other your first few times. That’s what we did and we just took baby steps and talked everything over thoroughly

Hello, welcome and hope you enjoy your stay. Take things slowly and at your own pace, social's like the secret tea party (as it might be near your neck of the woods) maybe a better way to go then clubs. But clubs are fun too

Going to a club is a very good option, as there will be no pressure to play and you can just watch and enjoy.

Welcome to the scene

We're not long in it, and started with a meet with a single guy and a couple. We do wish though, we had started with a club which we did later.

No pressure. No expectations. Bit of a laugh. And lots of options. If we were to start again, we'd go the club route

In all seriousness, maybe look for an organised social event first. There's no playing, just people who have been in your position and who you can talk freely to. There may even be people that will take you under their wing at a club event.

We went with the policy the best way to do a thing is to do it.

We are very much club swingers. Mr Misfit had some previous experience of clubs, Mrs Misfit none. Mrs Misfit was very nervous of her first time and had to be pushed through the club door (only because Mr Misfit knew she'd love it). It wasn't long till she was herself and having a great time. It's not just us. We've seen and talked to many first time couples in clubs and in most cases they settle right in and have a great time. Clubs seem daunting but they're really not once your in, honestly.

We would recommend clubs. Cuts out all the messing around you get with the online world, fakes, ghosting, no shows, endless massaging, finding out you dont fancy them in the real world, etc. You just meet real people in the real world and you can tell pretty quickly if they float your boat or not. We've not really done any meets from the online world. But through clubs we've had some great times, hot encounters and made great freinds who we also meet outside of the club world.

Our advice, have a think what you'd like out of a club night. Then do your research and find a club with dress, vibe and format your looking for (clubs are all very different). Then pick a night and go.

Every body are nervous when things like this start to happen , we still get nervous on meets even after 12,years , would definitely try a club or social , just to dip your toes , where you will get to meet some real people , don’t get caught out by the many fakes on sites

A club is a good first step as there is no pressure at all and you can just have a drink and chat to people.

Most people will be nervous the first time but once you've got past that you will wonder why you ever felt that way.

It's good to know we're not the only ones who feel nervous initially! This has just confirmed for us that we'll want to try a club first before any individual meets, so hoping to visit Le Boudoir in the near future! We've spoken about it a fair bit, and already have some rules in place for our first visit - it's just a question of finding a free weekend now and going for it!

There don't seem to be any socials at the moment in London where we're based, but will keep an eye on the forum for any that come up.

We're also enjoying chatting to a few people, and figuring out what we're looking for - hopefully will arrange a social with one or two soon as well, and take another step closer.

We arrange a no pressure social, so nice night out and then see how you feel after. Most important tho, keep talking to eaachother about what you want and dont want, nothing worse than one of you having to take one for the team. And don't be pressured. Set out your boundaries and talk to other couples, singles about what you want and what you dont want. And good luck, enjoy

A club meet sounds like it could be a great option.

I still get nervous butterflies pre meets... its all.part of the fun.

If you want a really gentle introduction I would be happy to host you both and if tge mood takes you,to become your obedient voyeur
