Upmarket hotels around Yorkshire for encounters?

I know it’s a random question but it’s genuine nonetheless…Has anybody ever tried an upmarket hotel anywhere in Yorkshire for a threesome or small group gathering? If so, what could you recommend? (I might try looking into them if I get the chance to visit the UK again with my partner).

Or are these encounters better suited for Airbnbs and cheaper hotels?

It’s just that I quite fancy sometimes the idea of an upmarket hotel suite for that kind of thing, as opposed to the Travelodge/Premier Inn kind of setting.

I once stopped at the Grand hotel in York itself which is a step up from the usual Premier Inn or Village hotels where I can be found

Airbnb better in my opinion, great value, more space, more privacy...just remember to sweep for covert devices!

That’s what I had thought but the last AirBnB I had rented for a party had faulty electrics (the whole power would be cut once you turned the cooker on), the washing machine was smelly, the toilet bowl was a bit manky at the very bottom…and the owner was supposed to be a super host!

Not so sure about 'small group gatherings' but for threesomes it's as easy to be discreet in high end hotels as low end. They are used to all kinds of shenanigans. Dayroom bookings often have good hotels on their websites.

I know Hilton does day use... I'm not as sure about that nice-looking hotel in York that is near the train station, if memory serves me right...
