It depends on the club you pick, as they all have different feels.

In general, you turn up dressed for a night out at a nice bar. Most clubs will give you the tour and talk you through the various club rules. There will usually be a socialising bar area where you can have a drink and people watch or try and start a conversation with others.

You don't need to worry about diving in right away with the first person you meet. No club ever expects you to do anything you're not ready to do. It's normal to spend your first visit or so just taking in the sights and seeing how you feel.

Some clubs will have 'dress down' rules where you either need to change into underwear or something if you want to be around the play areas. Some clubs require you to dress down on arrival or after a certain time. Other clubs have no such rules. Check out the clubs website for details. You can usually bring a bag with a range of dress down options if you're not sure how comfortable you'll feel.

Clubs can be great fun and are good places to meet new people. Go with no expectations and you won't be disappointed. No one ever has the right to touch you or coerce you into doing anything you don't want to do.

Aww thank you very much! This is really interesting. Hopefully we can look into some local clubs and see what events tickle our fancy! Thank you for the reply

The folk on reception may offer you a quick tour, if they're not too busy. If so take it as it will help settle your nerves abit to know the layout of the place.

Peterborough / Stamford

We've done two club visits (Liberty Elite and Quest) and both of them gave us a tour when we got there and explained the rules. Both places had lockers (cash deposit) with towels in. Liberty's was very much "dressed in the bar, dress down everywhere else" and Quest was more relaxed and dress down in the bar seemed okay (on the Sunday afternoon).

We're not the most confident or out-going pair of people and we've found it best to get into the hot tub early on - something about being on there with ten/twelve other people makes it easier to have a conversation. Both times we ended up being asked if we wanted to go and find a play room, and both times we did, though we never once felt under any kind of pressure.

We still consider ourselves club newbies but will definitely be making more of an effort to get to them.

What is the single guys experience like in clubs like these? I am curious to go to one but don't know what to expect.

I am very sociable and enjoy meeting new people so thats not a problem. Just dont want to be seen as a creep haha

At clubs single guys experiences vary. If they go planning to chat to people and have a fun and interesting night they'll be great. If they go expecting to watch loads of people fucking and join in and follow couples or single ladies around, then they won't do so well.

Aww come on, could we not have had them going at least a few mins with the whole 'walk through the door get stripped down and join the mass of bodies in an orgy' line?

If anything a number of clubs have a lot of chatting and litle phsyical action over the last two years, hopefully this will soon change back to the more usual mixing in playrooms and sex as before covid.

Pussy cat went to a club before we ever met and her and another chap were followed around all night by some guy hoping to get his end away. Pussy cat took care of him verbally though clubs will have security and a behaviour code which they will cover with you, they are helpful at getting rid of trouble if you ask them.

Around the Midlands

We have been to lots of clubs which as someone pointed out are all very different. Security are good in all and don't tolerate certain behaviour. Also, check with the clubs as some are bring your own (you pay for soft drinks/mixers) and others have licensed bars.

Overall just remember to enjoy the experience xx

Looking to try a club for my first time on the 30th, I’m a single male and have zero body confidence. Any recommendations in London?
