Does age mean much on this website?

I can't message more than the half of the people I want to,because of the age filters.

Does age mean tha much on this website?

It means a lot to some and nothing to others.

Quite a few people complain that they're too old for lots of people and others that they're too young.

I suggest that you tick the box that only returns profiles that are looking for your age when you do a search

We get this response so often.

It's nothing to do with whether or not at believe that can perform, everything to do with the fact they are the same age or older than her parents

Best thing to do us focus on those that do have your age in their range, just keep doing filter searches

Alot of hardened singers have kids your age and that's possibly why. It has been said before on the forums. We won't play with anyone that is the same age as our sons..it just wouldn't sit right.

I was chatting to a lady for weeks, but her age filter was 19-42. My birthday popped along, I turned 43...no more chats, no way of letting her know I'm not being ignorant. 42 is fine, 43 is way too old.

I do find that a bit odd that some can have a birthday, just then fall outside an age range of the person they were talking to then get ignored/ blocked. Only 24 hours before they were in it. I avoid people that petty personally.

More likely the person said or did something bad to get them blocked.

Possible it was just the age changing but very unlikely. I doubt people check the profile age every day if they are already chatting.

I caan still look at her profile, so I'm not blocked. Try messaging or winking, and that note comes up saying I'm out the persons age range.

Because lots of people on this site are are 50+ & possibly have children a similar age to you & not interested in meeting someone who could be their child

Just the fact that your questioning peoples preferences shows an immaturity which will also put people off, this post sounds like your stamping your feet & having a tantrum like a toddler

It wouldn't block them

Once someone's replies to your message you'll automatically be able to override any filters they have set unless they block you

As has been said already, age does matter to a lot of people. Personally I have no desire to meet anyone on here who is young enough to be my child or old enough to be my parent.
