Yes. I do. I often chat to newbies to break the ice for them. People can be nice. The club owners should make you feel welcome x

You don’t need escorting most clubs will be happy to see you and will make sure that you are looked after.

My very first club visit was as alone. I chose to go on an evening that wasn’t too busy so I didn’t feel overwhelmed. I rang and spoke with the club before I went - let them know I was thinking about it and they were lovely explaining everything and that they would look out for me. When I went they made me feel so welcome and I had a great night. When going to another club on another occasion it was the same - the staff look out for you, invite you round the bar to get talking with others and check in on you.

It was nerve wrecking but I was glad I did it

I can vouch for tattooed_vixen showing me the ropes! It’s probably best to go on your own sometimes, so you can do what you want to do and not worry if your friends are ok. I dare you to try it

You’ll be fine a woman on her own will make plenty of friends, even us TV’s get treated quite well (mainly on bi nights

). It’s single guys that often will be left feeling it was a waste of time, if they don’t make the first move and get chatting to people.

I’m a complete introvert and very shy and I’ve attended alone before. It’s about 2 mins of nervousness but that’s it! It’s well worth going for it

I just started going alone after many years away from the scene.

I’ll agree, it’s nerve wracking, I was sat for a little while on my own but then people started talking to me and I started to relax.

I think everyone sits watching for a little while trying to fathom if you’re alone or not.

I was approached by a single guy (super hot) and went off with him. Many conversations after started with people asking where my partner had gone. People seemed quite surprised I was on my own for some reason.

Clubs are safer than any vanilla night club in our opinion, chams where we frequent has quite a number of single females go. If you went to chams, after the tour by staff (occasionally with a trusted regular) ide say initially sit in the bar and chat to folks then if feeling you want to take a walk round, you will find it's (or most clubs we have visited) a great place even for just the social side and you will find 99% of folks really nice, you can do as much or as little as you want to.

Phone the club beforehand and have a chat. You should be given a tour by the owner or one of the regulars and they may keep you company until you find your feet.

I like to sit by the bar and smile as people come in. If you sit in a corner looking terrified and not making

eye contact, it's more difficult for people to approach you as they may think you aren't interested or are waiting for someone.

Remember that chatting to someone, doesn't indicate you fancy them and want to dash off to a private room, it's just a chat. There is no pressure to do anything. For a first visit, just plan to check the place out, the layout, the staff, the regulars, the atmosphere so you know what to expect next time.

Completely agree - always good to say you’re here for the first time and just looking to socialise. Takes the pressure off immediately and you can ask anyone to tell you how long they’ve been going to the clubs, what are their favourite nights, what’s the funniest thing that’s ever happened etc I enjoy hearing peoples stories! I’m all for hearing a review, next week, after you’ve tried it

I go on my own to my local club, for their bi night. Love it, it gives me great freedom to interact with whoever I want to interact with. It does help though that I know this club very well, and have friends there.

Have you got any particular club in mind?

I am a regular at Jaydees, either on my own or with my partner. We'd be more than happy to "take you under our wings"- we normally do Fridays. We took another lady to the club with us last Friday and she is hooked

I've been twice by myself to clubs and it's nerve wracking actually getting across the thresh hold. Once there I just stand by the bar and talk to people there. It's nerve wracking but good in the end!

Agree. Would have never ventured to a club a couple of years ago. Took the plunge and the nerves lasted about 2 mins. Once through the door most clubs go out of there way to make you feel at home.

Once you are inside it’s fine. You’ll meet others and make friends, then once you get to know people you’ll see them at other clubs etc. I treat it as night out, it’s safe, can go with no expectations or pressure. Join in on any threads in the forums for the club nights and get to know others also. X

I drove the second time. Free parking. Take your own alcohol if you want to, at some clubs and buy soft drinks there. I was surprised how many people drove actually! Made it even more relaxed, knowing I could leave whenever I wanted to! But yeah, I’m sure the staff can call you a taxi

I’ve always felt way safer in a club.

I know chameleons, for one, has cameras covering the car park. They kept an eye on me as I walked to my car and a couple were walking me to it anyhow.

I went to a club on my own and I was a bag of nerves! So nervous I couldn't sign my "name" or put my wrist band on! However when I told the hosts I was a single female, first ever club and alone I was looked after so well. Yes you'll be nervous, but you will enjoy it. Let the hosts/owners know you've come by yourself. No pressure to play, enjoy the atmosphere and how friendly everyone is. I have no regrets and I'd do it again! KD xx

The majority of clubs are well run with friendly management that make you feel welcome. Especially single ladies. The best clubs are where the guests are social, anything else is where the thrills begin. Be adventurous.

people will make you welcome and show you around.

Remember you don't have to do anything you don't want to.

I would never go to a club with someone I have never met. Done it before, did not end well.

Also, if you are counting on getting the discount on entry prices due to coupling up, most clubs have got a policy that any "couple" coming together has to leave together. Some (minority) even require that you have couple's profile on Fab.

Yes I go alone at times. I started going alone. Spoke to an eventer they made me comfortable so I bit the bullet and went and haven't looked back. Sometimes if you want something you just have to do it.

I can understand why some ladies may feel uncomfortable in going alone as they may feel that some guys maybe to pushy and rude if they say no but there are a lot of respectful guys who do understand that no means no and are non pushy.Also as has been said already if you tell a club it’s your first time attending as a single lady they will look after you and you never know you may meet another single lady there and perhaps you will get on a attend future events together.

I've been a few times on my own, tell the staff and you will be well looked after.

A couple of times I've gone in alone and Paul came in later as a single guy and watched me from a distance, quite funny to hear what the guys and couples say when not near you.

If you're new to this and curious, then the very best way forward for a single female is to go along to a club.

Remember this - if YOU have to show ID such as driving licence or passport to gain entry, so too does every one else in the club.
