Hey all, just looking for some friendly advice. How does a chubby guy take some decent tasteful photos for the profile. I’m so awkward in front of the camera.

It's like you read my mind......

If you want to do an naked/underwear shot, try having a back view or a 3/4 front view. These seem the optimum angles

work out where your light source is .natural light from a window or light from a bedside desk side lamp use chairs tables bedding as props remember sometimes less is more .one of the sexyist pics of a male i have ever seen sat at a table suited an booted jacket off tie askew shirt open gently lit from the side by a table lamp .

Personally take a bit of time and try taking loads of photos at different angles and different light. Basically just play around. The look through them all and see what you like. Then you'll know the shots that work for you.

Also a little tripod and remote is a really hand tool.

Stand up straight and pay attention to your form…don’t take shots while tense…hold your form then relax in your mind, then shoot.

Experiment with all angles…what works or looks good to you will not always be agreed with…and you will only be happy when you feel it looks good.

And of course more importantly, if you are not happy with yourself, it’s difficult to expect others to be…

A little exercise..nothing crazy…just getting off our asses regular helps our skin look better…our mental health sharper…our bodies healthier and all these promote better posture…energy…and effort.

All of this helps dramatically in the shits you finally short list.

Also…pay attention to what women are doing in their shots….they are way ahead of men.

Men …..look down at their phones taking shots….that’s fine if you wanna look insecure, non confident and have a double chin.

Women….look up predominantly at their phones …elongating their bodies, to appear slimmer and tighten their face and neck.

So check out the ladies shots and pay close attention to what they are doing and why.

Finally…don’t take any shots in the toilet….and pay attention to what else can be seen in the background.

Dirty laundry and general mess etc….one last thing….do take your socks off….the women that enjoy seeing a man in only socks, are undeniably the minority…so play the percentages lol
