How can some people whose profile show they have been online for 3,4 5onths etc have pictures dated 2018, 2019 etc.. ?

I have never seen that, it’s pretty much impossible

Are you sure you’re not getting “last on 3 months” ago confused with “joined”

I blocked a profile just today, their pictures were dated 2010to 2013 but their profile said they had only very recently joined, as in a few months ago

Now where are those telling me i am confused.

Joined 6 weeks ago but pictures from 2020 etc. Bit of a joke

Well maybe they had previous accounts on fab , left and then rejoined. The pics were verified on the previous account and the dates stayed on somehow, otherwise no idea.

Maybe they deactivated their account for a while and the newer date is when it was reactivated

Possibly a user has deleted their account so the username is removed

Then a new person has registered the deleted username and the images were never deleted when the account was previously

So it appears they belong to the new account but they were actually uploaded on the previous one

Ive been off an on different profiles for about 13 years now, my pics have the date they were uploaded on, must be a glitch somewhere coz am sure its virtually impossible to have pics older than the profile

We've spotted a few ourselves. They'll soon learn when people walk away from meets or lose interest in person. Its a bit silly to use pictures from years ago to represent yourself now.

I think its the date they posted the photos on their profile.
