Just had a message off a guy I declined as a friend telling me I'm a "time waster and my pics make me look like a fat old guy in charity shop clothes WTF ??

Didn't think it was nice at all, Even if I do look that bad !!!

i find best that simple logic is best way to deal with them . i had the dummy spitters and tantrum throwers who get abusive when told no. i just calmly point out THEY mailed ME asking to meet ect and block and not give them a second thought. lol !!

they are only showing themselves up and their true colours . just shows you were spot on for turning them down in the first place . why waste any of your time or energies worrying about an childish out burst of a complete stranger who knows zero about you ? plenty of decent folks on here i assure you hgz x

I used to get this all the time on another site I was on for a while. You can't win, some men moan at not receiving a 'no thank you', and others when you do go to the trouble take it incredibly personally and start ranting.

At least here you can be polite and say no thanks and block at the same time so you don't get any abuse!

The thing that worries me is that people who will be that vile actually do think about you that way when they message you but have so little real respect for the people here...we've been lucky so far but it really makes me want to give up and walk away sometimes...

That worries me a bit too and I'm always on the alert for guys who seem to be more about themselves than about having a shared fun experience. Trouble is, it can take a few interactions before alarm bells start, and I find it a bit difficult to tail things off adequately without the 'timewaster' accusation appearing. But at the end of the day my own feelings and safety are more important than someone I'm beginning to feel more and more uneasy about!

i get the odd insulting message, but it doesnt bother me too much because most of the messages i get are nice.

they must have been realy disapointed that you didnt accept them as a friend.

and there's some good stuff in there

I donate all my used clothes to the local hospice shop

I must admit to being a bit 'wasteful' with clothes and usually wear them no more than 4/5 times (mainly cos I've got that many and they get rotated), so some people are getting clothes for 50p that may have cost £70/£80 brand new six months earlier.

On the point of post though, sounds like someone doesn't take rejection too well.

You should have said the next time you were in the charity shop rooting through clothes, you'd have a look for a rattle and a dummy for him - cos he's obviously launched his across the room.

You look fine - don't let the pillock get you down

Im never rude to anyone but if i dont like them i will send a polite no thanks

Ive had messages back telling me im to ugly to be choosy, thats im a fat cow anyway and they can do better then me dowen the put, ive had guys tell me i should be grateful for their attention as i cant do any better, one guy said i was nothing but a two bit used whore who only came on sites like this cause i was to ugly to find men in real life, ive even had it from a guy i met, he mailed me a couple of weeks after we met asking if i wanted to meet again and because i declined he told me i was a shit fuck anyway and was glad i said no

over the years ive heard it all

rejection is a bitter pill for some to swallow, just laugh it off and think he must have really liked you to take your rejection so badly

Sadly this is a common issue on here and no doubt other sites and not confined to just men.

I try to treat folk as i expect to be treated and believe it or not even i have rejections lol.

Once rejected get over it and move to next victim i mean person lol.

We're the same. There's absolutely no use pushing the point if the other person isn't interested - it isn't going to wave a magic wand over things and suddenly make them change their mind.

...in the same way that wishing someone all the best and moving on is far better than hurling an insult at someone because they're not interested. That someone might know the insulter's next victim and might just fill them in on how they spat the dummy and chucked their toys out of the pram when they couldn't get their own way, and it is a very small world on here.

I have been messed around and insulted by numerous men but I agree they are just shallow and pathetic.

After a while you get to work out who is genuine but it is a bit annoying.

I think it's better to meet some decent guys and stick with them for a while especially if they are a top shag!

You look good to me. Tbh if he behaved like that then best that you didn't meet as sounds a nasty mean guy. I had a 'lady' be extremely rude to me on another site fir no reason. I took it that she had the problem not me.
