We got ours from Erotica a couple of years ago...though this isn't a lot of use to you as they've gone bust !

I think we got ours from Amazon? We bought one from the States initially but I blew it up plugging it into a shaver plug converter rather than a transformer

. The one from Amazon had a British plug

We bought 2 on ebay but not Hitachi one is mains powered the other rechargeable and the pair cost about the same as Hitachi one. We are able to use the Hitachi attachments on them as well.

Was it the black and red one?

That's both of ours favourite of the two we got runs at about 7000 rpms though after about 30 mins does warm up a bit. Our rechargeable one is purple.

What's the box like? Been tempted to get one to make the speed more variable but been told they reduce the power substantially?

We can't really comment on the reduction of power as we've always used the box. The variation is speed is amazing
