what do you guys and gals think about having an instant messaging option on here so we can chat to people instantly on here. Saves the ping pong of the messages, and cut time down, just a thought.

Wonder how many people would be interested in this or has already posted to admin about puttin this option in.

I think it might be a good idea to have an option where you could cam privately in the chatroom, for those who wish to have a private cam chat with someone else and then revert back to one of the main rooms as you wish

I like instant messenger on another site I use but the message system here is just as good really.

I don't want to spend all night chatting to one person. Im here to meet not to isolate msyelf.

People who go over to instant chat will ignore the forums. The forums will suffer. There will be nothing to read as you will all be on messenger talking to one person instead of reading the input and opinions of many.

The forums will die. Chat will die. The mods will die. Your sex life will die .....cos you keep chatting to one person .... Swinging will DIE!!! Cos you will all become monogomous....

NO!!!! NO BLOODY INSTANT MESSENGER......... WE'RE DOOMED I TELL YOU ...DOOOOOOOOMED !

Yes msn and yahoo do the same thing. But all I meant was an option in the fab chatrooms to cam chat privately for those who may wish to occasionally "go private" for reasons of their own for a short time ..... see?

i think sometimes they go into the irish room which is nearly always empty or supporters room it has been known lol

I actually like the instant messenger or chat boxes on other sites. It enables me to chat to someone without giving them my email address.

I for one think it is a great option. If you dont like it, you donot have to use it.

Yes its a very good idea. im a member of another site and they have an IM option. you can cover more ground and get your questions answered a whole lot quicker.Much, much more personal. plus you can have the option of turning your cam on and audio. its fun. so come on fab get moving.

I can imagine the uproar now when you not only have to ignore un wanted PM's but also reject un wanted IM's. A question too do you pay for this "other" site just wondering cos I dont know any that have it for free. Thats the trouble with a free lunch some people want gravy on it too

think the forums on SDC have a function that allows this when chatting online, the option to go into private chat. Sure it wouldnt be too hard to impliment the same kind of script onto this site.

As a single woman...IM on this site would be a bad idea; as I just want to be able to log on and read my messages not be pestered by fellas wanting to chat. I have had a few fake couples and some very old fellas with young pics on their profile. I take my time to check genuine peeps on here. So I wouldn't want to waste my time IM on FAB to them. The forums are great!!!!

if your on msn, you can talk to loads at the same time and all in total isolation, it the way to go

Personally think its a bad idea... We used to use msn,all they wanted was us to send them pics,we never did but when a meet was mentioned nothing ever come of it,so now we just arrange to meet on the site fem/fem chat before meet and we have had a lot more meets since doing this.

We think this has ed out the timewasters who all they want to do is talk about swinging,what they want to do to me ect but nothing ever come of it.
