Account .Privacy settings . Scroll down to hide profile click on hide it.

Does the OP mean appear "off-line" as in stealth mode or hide the profile?

Currently we cannot appear "off-line" when we are online except to hide the profile.

And even on a hidden profile y can still be contacted my people that aren't blocked in your settings

It would be nice to be able to appear offline, especially when idiots like us log on using a phone and then toddle off to do something else and forget to log out....we are sometimes logged in for hours at a time.....

Hmm I never logout on my phone does that mean I appear online when not?

Would have thought after 10 mins idle would show offline bit like msn when not using computer.

We don't really care either to be honest....and it's easier to stay logged in instead of faffing about with the password all the time....

I'm always logged in on my phone, however if I shut the screen down it doesn't show me as online...only when I open the screen again does it revert to online....not sure if its the same for all phones though

Personally I don't bother to log out. I can't see the point keep putting password in. Obviously some will have issues with kids using phone etc.
