"Our advice is to take slowly and at the pace of the one that’s more nervous about swinging, we started by going to swing clubs and just chat and watch others, then progressed to being watched and slowly onto soft play with others and then finally to full swing swap, all this was over about 18 month period. Don’t rush it, talk to each other, don’t put pressure on anyone, take your time and most importantly both have fun xx" Same approach except it was over 4 weeks compared to 18 months

"we are completely new to the swinging scene, she is a bit shy and want to make our first time good. we are starting with socials to see if we click/attraction." Your best bet would be to attend an organised social where there are lots of people to chat and mingle with. It would be less nerve wracking, and there won't be any pressure (either real or imagined) to go further. Take it at the pace of the slowest person, you don't want to ruin what you have now by russhing into something one of you isn't comfortable with. Good luck
