Theres a guy local to me that regularly messages me random things, I'm not in the slightest bit interested in hearing from him, I've never had any dialogue with him, as I find him and his updates cringe worthy, so I block him, then 2 weeks later he pops up again on a new profile with a different name and does the same again, but hides his profile so I can't block him, this has been going on for months!

Ive reported him to admin, but it still keeps happening.

Just wondering what people's thoughts are on this. I've been on fab for a long while, and this idiot is the only person I've ever had a problem with.

You should still be able to block a user with a hidden profile from either the list on the left side on the desktop version, or from the menu button on the mobile version.

All you can do is just report the profile to admin who will look into it, and block

OP.....I'm still having the same problem with a user. He is now on his 5th profile to contact me. A bit stalkerish to be fair, and a little unnerving. Like you I report everytime and block, and still he pops up on another new profile.

I really don't know what to do about it now. Admin certainly don't care that is pretty evident after these many profile changes to bypass the blocks

The thing is ... many people use VPNs or dynamic IP addresses so it's hard to block an IP ... anyone can get themselves a new email address and so open a new account ... it's like the hydra ... cut off one head another appears ... on the site all you can do is report and block. If its the same person and is becoming deeply disturbing, it may be a matter for the police?

Block newbies op and maybe consider changing filters so only site supporters can message, he might think twice if he has to pay everytime he wants to rejoin and message.

This sounds like it would help . Try using your filters so that newbies, people who aren't site supporters and those with photos or verified can contact you.

I'd consider blocking all men for a few weeks. Those that you've replied to can still contact you, but it will give you a break from the idiot bloke. Good luck.

Block newbies, block those without site support or verifications, change your profile photo and user name

I have this problem with a few guys.

They message me wanting to meet, when i say no thanks they then get abusive. I block them. They then make a new profile and it all happens again.

I have used my filters etc but it still hapens.

I thought that we weren't allowed to make new profiles to get round a block
