It's a BDSM term. You have the brat who misbehaves so that they will get punished by their Dom/me

Brat can be misbehaving or being playful in a behavioural way in order to play or gain attention from their Dom/me in a BDSM dynamic setting.

But brat can mean different things to different people depending on their agreed definitions.

Can be amazingly fun for some people and others are put off by it.

I really must take issue with the statement that people are uneducated for accusing brats of being rude or obnoxious. There are a number of issues, with your statement. Your behaviour may be benign but you can't talk on behalf of all other brats. There are submissives that are a pain.

By definition (I am talking about the nicer brats and not those who don't care) bratting is about trying to break the rules and get around the rules. Putting aside where a sub is being neglected and is trying to get attention. Why be a pain in the ass?

This question splits the Doms of the BDSM world. There are Doms who like brats and find them amiable, and those who believe there is a pit in hell waiting for brats. It is not a matter of education but a matter of aptitude and how much 'brat behaviour' a Dom is willing to accept. That is why some Dom's are called "Brat Wranglers" because they can deal with brats.

Brat Wranglers are not better Dom's, they just have an aptitude for dealing with brats.

From my own point I don't mind giving impact, funishments are fine but I don't like given punishment for the sake of it. Particularly, if it the sub is wanting to be punished. I accept that it is some people's form of play. However, my own view is why not ask if you need something you will be likely to receive. The answer is usually "Where is the fun in that" and that is why brats can be seen as rude and obnoxious.

Its the dynamic that is fully negotiated, agreed upon before agreeing to a brat/brat dom dynamic. Brats like to tease and act out but only within agreed boundaries with their dom. There are different types of submissives as there as different types of doms. Only the uneducated dont agree with different types.

This is fascinating stuff - fab is a real education it has to be said. 1 years national conscription should be enforced and our country would become a far more enlightened enjoyable place to live!! I've found out more in the short time I've been on here than all the previously wasted years combined.
