"Hi, seem to be struggling to get responses and meets. Where am I going wrong?"

I could take a wild guess as to how this thread will go.....fuck me!!the same as all the others that started with a baffled single straight guy.

Just read every thread that exist on this subject, and to make it super simple do the following.

1. A few singles males will make good points. Most won't because they are in the same position you are so just ignore completely.

2 Ignore my sarcastic posts unless you want to learn how to get banned from a forum.

3 There's is always the one dude who holds back on a thread, then will 100% agree with a Single females comment (usually very well written and articulate and stands out from the rest and also responds to what some men have said as a backlash ) He will state his disgust of some mens comments, declare his undying support and reassure the good women of fab.com there are still some decent men like him around. Don't be this guy, it's a lame and weak. Female's post he piggy backs on definitely read it as its usually bang on.

4. Couples commenting, read theirs same vein as single females as it'll help you.

5 getting few responses, being blocked, difficult to arrange a meet, getting blanked by people you've engaged with over time it happens, you can't change it and you don't need to because its not personal. Your target audience of who you meet will respond im this thread , tell you why you've been successful and give you helpful tips to change it around so you only need to be concerned by their comments really.

We are not in pof.com land and a million miles away from tinder here mate, this is very different but you can make it work you

Have you tried changing your approach?

Exeter

I'd reconsider putting your area as 'Wherever I lay my hat'. We get the reference, but as we sit here now you could be anywhere from Bath to Bodmin, and generally people don't start digging for information when the basic profile isn't enough to pique interest.

Good luck.
