It's easier if you are a regular on the forums or post about it (like here) as more people will see it. Or if you have hundreds of friends as they will see new photos when you out them on the site.

I wouldn't worry about it OP, there are a lot of variables and it's not that big a deal. Those fabs don't necessarily transfer into prospective meets.

The hots list is based on 12 hours not 24 hours like on your updates page.

I got 450 on one of my photos last weekend and it made page 3.

If you enjoy people admiring and liking your photos, you may get more enjoyment from posting on Twitter x

I can't see as it matters much, the hot photos are often not the hottest photos on Fab (in my opinion of course) they re just people who post a lot of participate a lot in the forums and have a lot of people who follow them because they produce a lot of content, this isn't meant as a criticism of these people or to say that they're not hot just that exposure isn't equal.

Then there's the fact that there 100,000+ active members on fab it's a little presumptuous to assume you'll instantly be in the top however many photos.

As it stands you will be less popular with those who value spelling and grammar, but I presume you're aware of that.

I doubt that prevents anyone fabbing your pics though!

If you're really desperate for the validation of hot photos, there are some methods that can be employed, I believe. Without listing them on the forum, you should think about how to maximise awareness of your pics in order to trigger fans.

Why is it so important to you to be on hot photos? Try to be happy with how you are rather than seek validation from strangers.

In the grand scheme of things does it really matter if a load of people you’ve never met (and probably never will) like (or don’t like) a particular photo of you?

Ok, "desperate for validation" isn't the most positive of phrases, but it's a valid opinion of those who chase fabs - and the rest of what I wrote is entirely fair.
