hidden profile

I have a couples profile(not this one obviously)and due to the amount of folk that cannot read or understand what is read,my good lady has decided to have a wee break and hidden the profile.

Everything appears to have been done correctly,so why are we still getting random friends invites from single guys who neither of us have spoken to?

Has anyone else had the same problem

I think hiding the profile doesn't actually hide it - it just stops it appearing in searches and prople seeing the content. If the guys have you in their hot list, they can still message, wink and friend request you.

As the other poster said..

If they can get to the "this member has hidden their profile" page they can still contact you.

They can click on a forum post, a verification you've left someone etc... As well as what the,previous poster said about hotlists.
