I got a first contact message last year from a well verified couple that had 4 words in it

Facepic and phone number?

When I refused both I then got the standard your loss reply so I blocked them.

Usually inform them that etiquette is that the person asking sends their face photo first. If they ignore the message or don't bother then delete and block.

I've never had one.

If I did, it depends on who messaged me as to the reply.

A lady would be asked to share first, anyone else would be told that I only show my face to those I might consider meeting.

We have rule whether it's first or last message that if someone asks us for face pic, then they better be prepared to send one first.

So many refuse this, but we'd send ours first if we had asked for one.

If somebody sends me an email asking for a face picture I expect them to send one.

I'd have been tempted to reply something like "Yes, I'm happy for you to send those. Thanks for asking for consent first rather than just throwing them into my inbox."

I tend to send a face pic when I first message people, but that’s after I’ve looked at their profile, verifications etc. and decided I want to interact with them.

If someone was to message me out of the blue asking for a face pic then I’d probably ask for one from them first

I had a conversation with a guy, asked him for a face pic and he wouldn't send one just said it was friends only. Wasnt verified and wanted me to add him. Then deleted it off his photos before i could look. Luckily I hid my profile before accepting him. Blocked him. Seemed odd.
