What’s everyone using for downstairs? I know a few cause burns. Currently use a trimmer but fancy the completely smooth feel

Any advice?

i've used veet and it does work, but you need to be super strict with the timmer or you'll get a nasty chemical burn (don't do it before or after sport, etc as the skin will be damaged slightly, so more likely to get sore or burn).

You are much better off getting used to shaving if you want to go smooth, shave with the grain and use sudocream or something similar to sooth the skin to avoid shaving rash until your skin gets used to it. It's far less faff in the long run compared to veet.

I like veet but you have to be really careful with it.

It’s burnt me before which wasn’t pleasant but I still prefer it to shaving.

We have both used Veet with varying degrees of success. Mrs prefers shaving or being shaven

I quite like a combination of both hair removal and shaving.

Warks.

I recently used a hair removal cream and my stuff ended up looking like Gollum or Homer Simpson. Patches of three hairs everywhere. The electric razors do just fine

If you’re thinking hair removal cream but worried about skin irritation then try to go for one for sensitive skin. To be on the safe side do a skin test too

Magic power is the best...

Be sure to check the Amazon reviews for Veet ( or is it Nair), 100 laughing out loud!

I’ve read that many times and it makes me roar with laughter every time

There’s a new kid on the block for this. It’s a hair removal cream made for ‘down there’. The company is called woo woo. It’s designed for women but I don’t think men’s pubes are any corser than women’s are.

I use it and it works and doesn’t burn. 7 minutes does the job. They also sell a balm for afterwards which is also really good.

Used veet in the past gives a smoother finish than my body groomer/ trimmer.

However does grow back a lot quicker and is a lot of effort and a bit of a lengthy chore !

Nair Sensitive.

Great smooth results with no irritation (except along her c-section scar)

Beats nicking your ball sack with your clippers

Go get a professional wax, if you have the disposable income. You can do it yourself but it's hard work and the scrotum is surprisingly easy to damage and a nick/cut/etc should stop play until it's healed since it massively increases your STI risks.

Wife shaves but i use sensitive nair, as someone above points out you have to be strict on the timings, any longer than the time stated will burn

Ooh will have to try that. I was wary as it said it was for men, and generally their hair is coarser than womens

I got some Woo Woo and tried a couple of test patches on my legs. (I didn't feel safe slathering my balls in it straight off ) It did nothing noticeable, but if IIRC the instructions were for way shorter than 7min. Maybe I'll try again

When I've got the time and money, I prefer getting waxed every time.

Nair sensitive but no longer than 5 mins! Shaving and washing can cause ingrowing hairs for some people. Or the permanent way is laser but expensive!

Another vote for magic powder.

I have been using it for years.

I also recommend using a shower scrunchie to get rid of the last of the pubes and powder mix.

We use the silver magic powder and it's great. Mix with warm water, slap it on and 10 mins later we're smoother than a billiard ball!

Waxing is best but been difficult to get an appointment during lockdown.

If you use magic powder make sure you use the silver and not the red! Red is extra strong!

I’ve just ordered some. Hopefully it’ll be better than veet

Shave 1/2 times per week! Use conditioner instead of shaving foam leads to a ultra smooth finish!

Used veet only once!! Oh my oh my my poor wee sack!!!

I use a Philips bodygroom & it’s fairly decent. I’ve been extra careful & not nicked my ballbag once also

Just purchased a sugar wax kit but yet to use it. I should maybe get it done professionally first so I can see how waxing is done properly.

Male half here. I'm using Nads creme. It smells like a septic tank explosion but works for me. Takes few tries to get the timing right, for me anything below 6 minutes leaves me hairy and above 7 gives me burns.

Razors. We bath every evening and it takes no time at all to keep eveything fuzz free.
