Hiya everyone. I was wondering when you’re engaged in a conversation with someone does it become like you’ve exchanged too many messages now and become hesitant. I ask because when I get messaging a woman I sometimes think I ask too many questions and I’m just beating round the bush. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you all.

For us the problem is when someone sends loads of messages in a row because they're impatient for a reply. Immediate block when that happens.

If you're sending messages, getting a reply and the person you're messaging isn't obviously fed up or anything, then there's no issue.

I don't usually send another message until I receive on back but with certain people you know fairly well it's acceptable, women and couples get loads of messages compared to us blokes so I presume your message can get lost amongst quite easily. I have one conversation that's hundreds of messages in and some others that are just like one or two a day. Main thing is to be conscious of not becoming a pest with too many messages. If you have enough in common with someone you will never run out of stuff to discuss. When you start getting three word replies it's an indication they are bored of you but too polite to say so or keeping you hanging on the reserve bench, funny one to gauge properly.

Yeah I get you mate. I send one if it’s read and not replied usually means not interested or not seen it really.

Patience is a virtue and if the recipients don't seem to be pushing for anything faster, you're probably going at their pace. Most want good matches, so effective filtering and understanding each other is right.

If you try not to repeat the same questions, or be drilling them for anything that could appear like wank fodder, then you can have 2 way dialogue that's progressive and not standing still.

You can always ask about the likely time frame, as long as it doesn't seem pushy.
