Great idea but alas I think there would be 99% to 1% split, clubs know that they need more women to attend so that the men visit and pay the most for entry.

There has been a few events at various clubs the first one i heard of was at jaydees a few years ago and was called swingles night.

It was a good event and by the very nature of it, before long it was full of couples lol

You see that's the other thing I don't agree with that it's guys who have to pay the most. I'd happily pay whatever the fee IF I was getting a truly singles night. I believe in life you get what you pay for and there wouldn't be any shortage of like minded single women who would be happy to pay for the singles night they wanted instead of having to deal with 2 people in a couple, where perhaps there was pressure for the female to put on a show, especially if she wasn't attracted to the other half, which has always been a problem for me.

Chans on a Friday is predominantly singles you still get cples go but I'd say the single guys outnumber both the cples and single women in attendance I know this isn't what you were looking for but if it's single guys your looking for and have no joy in single only events it maybe worth a trip to chams

Chams is great on a friday night ...but the single guys are like 6 times the nos of single woman I'd say ...lots of nice couples.as wwll ..but would be nice to see more single ladies ..

I think the socials I've been to where it's a more balanced ratio of singles have a much better atmosphere..every one wants to be more social and say hello ...

I came here to make the same point about managing ratios.

I can see someone organising an event like this, getting 99% blokes, and then nobody coming to the second edition because the first one was a sausage party. Hah.

I also suspect that a lot of women wouldn't want to go to an event that had a lot of single guys. We – quite understandably – have a very poor reputation.

I think you could make something like this work in a very small club with known membership where the crowd could be more easily managed.

There is a world of difference between single guy profiles on here that are rude, aggressive etc and single guys in clubs and socials in the real world.

They dont have a bad reputation. If you manage the ratios, the guys that turn up will be pleasant sociable and decent blokes..

Same here. I have no interest in couples, I’d love to go to a singles night where everyone is genuinely single. But only if the guys were respectful and low pressure, with no attitude of “I paid to get in here, you’re single so I expect sex”.

Most clubs require membership, and it is normally single membership or couples membership.

The event could be open only to people with single membership (although a couples could take out a single a membership).

The numbers of males to be limited and chosen at random, so that the first to apply are not guaranteed a place because the desperate are happy to sit on the phone.

I am not sure a 50/50 ratio works because (and I am reliably informed) when a women puts her mind to it and is so inclined she can handle the attention of more than one man, also men have a recovery time. Therefore some parties work on the basis of 70% men to 30% women.

The only problem about making it single women only is that it may act against hot wives who may want to attend.

The reason why couples are encouraged with lower entrance fees, it is one way of getting more ladies in.

Ladies even as part of couples attract the guys who seem happy to pay the extra just to be in the prescence of the ladies.

It a straight forward honey trap situation. We can remember when at least a couple of local clubs would let single ladies in for free. There is one club who would even go as far as providing the single ladies with a first drink free.

That for us is too close to getting paid potentially for sex.

It just feels like there should be a way to cater to everyone even if things like a bi night or a singles night are monthly rather than weekly! If I wasn’t such an introvert I’d look into hosting one myself! Lol

I have a couples profile (with a friend) and organised some very popular socials in birmingham...a great mix of single guys and girls and couples...its a heck of a lot of effort to organise ...but very rewarding... I've moved away from brum but still know a few classy venues if anyone wanted to organise something ...they are so much more fun than the virtual world.

Why it really needs to be the club's in everyone's locality to start doing these as they're already gested up for it. I'll happily pay to get what I would like to have

Solo guys are used to paying a price to visit clubs, I doubt they would mind paying a little more if they knew they were attending an event 50/50 with single females. I’ve rarely seen more than 1 or 2 single females in clubs, and if there’s no match with those, all you are left with are the couples, who rarely are interested in single males…….

I think women are more scared about ending up in the skip afterwards these days, after meeting a random geezer in a nightclub, whereas everyone in a swinger club has their details logged in reception, so it’s far safer for the female
