I would recommend you find a surgeon you like first. Then find out where they work. Every company will tell you that their surgeons are the best. Also think about cost, it’s highly likely you will have to get them changed every 10 years. Not because of the implants themselves, but your breasts will change as they would naturally. Also read the cancellation policy carefully before giving a deposit. Trust me that spot that just became available will come available again.

It is a major surgery but it’s pretty common.

I can’t wait to get mine done, only really struggling with actually picking who to go with, I’ve got a few consultations sorted so I’ll make up my mind I think as I talk to the doctors x

It’s strange that your dr would class it as major surgery, unless of course there is something in your medical history that he was referring to. I was on the operating table for an hour (I had a set removed and new ones put in) and was sitting eating my tea in an Indian restaurant 4 hours later. It’s a very safe procedure for healthy adults, in fact, my first set were done under a local anaesthetic!

Do you know any1 whos had a boob job. If your brave ask them about their consultant/ hospital/ AFTER CARE.

Oh your GP is a good source of knowledge But why r they saying dont ???

My friend had hers done . She asked 1 of the girls dhe knew from work who had hers done. Transpired the consultant was based in Leeds and had done about 10 of the girls in the building...

I’m not sure why, it’s a routine procedure and 1000’s are done in this country every day

I had my boobs done two years ago at the Banwell Clinic costing £6300.

I’ve had no trouble with them, the after care was faultless. I have since gone on to recommend my surgeon to four other ladies, which have all had breast augmentation with him.

Hope that helps you! X

Got mine done 9 years ago now paid £4000 went with Transform. Surgeon explained that 10 years is the warranty for the actual implants and if there is nothing wrong with them after 10 years there is no point of doing anything 10 or 15 or whatever amount of years. There's also different types or implants some are firmer some more natural also implant can go under the breast muscle or over. I've got mine under the muscle. Best way to find out all you want and need is go to few different places who offer free consultations. Make a list of questions in case you get over excited and forget to ask something. My surgery price included 3 years free surgery if anything would go wrong and I am glad I chose that particular option as I did have complications with my scars healing too thick. Can't remember what is the condition called but it's when your body makes too much tissue to heal. I had another surgery to tidy up the scars nicely a year later free of charge. The risk is the same like any other surgery that you get put to sleep, maybe you will wake up maybe not but its the same even if you go get your wisdom tooth out. Also some health conditions might prevent you from fasting which you have to do before surgery. Oh and if you're a smoker it's tough too you gotta stop in preparation when all you wanna do is calm your nerves lol anymore questions just direct message me I think I'm writing a novel here

While my opinion what you want to go with your own body is completely irrelevant,,, You don't need to change anything!

Can I say that I have met women who have had breast inplants and while they have looked impressive they have felt like hard rubber. There is also the tell tale scars in the armpits. Think, carefully, ladies if you want to have this procedure. I'm not sure you are able to breast feed after either but correct me please if you can.

Implant, not inplant.

You can breastfeed.

Scars are usually in the crease under the breast and not visible.

New style implants feel very realistic and not at all like “hard rubber”.

It is still invasive surgery under anaesthetic, regardless of how often it's done... Anaesthetic is risky business

Aesthetics in healthy adults is extremely safe now, having worked in theatres for years, the risk is negligible

My personal advice would be (if you go for it) get the most natural feeling ones you can get. I have felt some which are impossible to tell are enhanced, and I felt some that feel like bricks covered with skin. I realise I'm not your target audience, but I would prefer no enhancement to feeling a pair of rocks. Luke

I think most surgeons nowadays work with silicone/ultra light silicone which is the one that feels the most real I think.

The hard rock type was the saline which is very firm. Tho I’m sure they advanced those as well, like everything of course

A doctor will most probably advise you against any surgery that isn’t corrective or life saving.

Whilst it might be minimal risk... it’s still a higher risk than not having it done.

You should have consultations at a couple of different places and see which you feel most comfortable with .

Then take some time to decide after that if it’s what you want and then you can decide which

I’m all for aesthetics, surgical or not. But as long as there’s no underlying issue as to why you shouldn’t have it, then it’s completely up to you if it’s worth it xx

I'd leave them, they look absolutely fine.

Even if you're at home every night crying & depressed because they're not big enough speak to a shrink first then your doctor.

But do you really want to mess with what's already perfection?

Yeah, implants these days feel very realistic. The advancements in cosmetic surgery are light years ahead of other areas. People who make the comment about “rocks” have either felt a very old set or none at all and just talking rubbish

My sister had hers done a number of years ago and is still very pleased with the natural looking results.

I don't where she had them done, but I do know that she had maybe 4/5 consultations and went with the one she thought was best.

She said one of the worst was a prominent London clinic.

Make sure that wherever you decide to go, will offer post surgery support and long-term aftercare. It's important that they discuss everything with you and ensure you are aware of dangers and negatives as well. It is considered to be major surgery and all surgery comes with risks.
