Hi guys.

I had this profile for a while but only recently been taking this site more seriously after a friend told me about this site So you can say I am a newbie on this site. Right now I have been trying to get my first meet up on fabswingers to be verified and so far had little results.

So my question is what I am doing wrong on this site. All structured criticisms are welcomed and would be great to hear from more experienced members telling me what I am doing wrong or right.

Seems that there are a lot of new members to the site that get so hung up on getting that first meet and that little green tick that it becomes the be all and end all of everything.

I think this says far more about peoples expectations of the site and how misconceived their ideas might be about fab.

It's not a race. It's not a competition. Just relax.

The more you fret about it, the more difficult you make it for yourself.

The problem with your question is that you haven't actually said what it is you are doing to try and secure a meet, so it's impossible for anyone to hint at where you might be going wrong.

You haven't specifically asked for profile advice, so I can't give you any, but I'm wondering if you are being pro-active, actually messaging people, or if you're thinking that having created a profile, people will find you.

Profile is waaaaaayy too long for me.

There’s a picture of your body as your profile pic and you tell us your black about 6 times in the first paragraph lol. Seems to be playing to a certain cliche’ because we can see your skin colour lol.

I’d not meet without seeing the dick pic first.

And people looking for a meet for a verification just give off the vibe they only want the verification and don’t care who from.

I’ll be honest, I don’t think this is the site for you. If you only want women, and only want to meet couples if the man isn’t present, I think the more mainstream hookup apps would be more appropriate for you. I think you’ll struggle to find anyone on here who will entertain that list of requirements.

Thanks for replaying to my message. I am very grateful for your response. To answer some of your questions here, I want to get my first meet as first meet will get the ball rolling for me. Well that what I think having a first meet on here will do with a verified meet by another member. Like you said maybe I need to take this slow.

As my plan on here is, I want to meet with ladies or couples on here for meet ups. As for profile advise, to be more clear I want to know what I am doing wrong. Is my profile to long, to detailed, not putting right information on my profile and etc….

And as for me, I have been semi pro-active with actually messaging people around my area and putting myself out there more. So far had little results. So yeah that’s me.

Thanks for replaying to my message. I am very grateful for your response. To answer some of your questions here, yeah I have been getting people say my profile is too long and looks like I will shorten my profile this week. As for mention my skin tone, most of profile came from another site and the profile will likely need to be redone again.

As for you not seeing anyone without seeing the dick pic first, well I normally don’t show my dick to strangers as I want to keep it as a surprise to potential meets but if someone is interested in a meet up with me, I can make an exception for a certain someone.

Maybe me saying I want my first meet to get verified came off to strong and gave the wrong message. Yes I do want to get verified on here by another member, but don’t get me wrong, I join this site to have some bedroom fun the most.

Without prejudice:

You're looking for a very specific meet, which sounds more like a hook up, so you may have better luck on t**Der, p*f etc.

You have the longest list of criteria and expectations for people to meet. This could be seen by others as demanding, unrealistic or arrogant. I thinks it's just the byproduct of trying to say too much. I'll also say that you've been polite and courteous in you profile and posts, which is a good thing.

Our profiles act as a sales pitch to others.

Think of the different experiences between seeing something displayed really well in a shop window

making you want to go in and ask about it, and being accosted by marketers following you down the street asking you questions!

You might get some better detailed advice if you concisely say what you want from fab. What can you offer, and what makes you different from all the other single guys.

Also worth saying, if you think your profile accurately describes you, and what you want, don't touch it. Leave it as it is. The best way to make the right connections, is to be completely honest.

As for my criteria, yeah it is long from what others have said here. And it has given an arrogant vibe which was something I did not want to present on here. Yes I was trying to say to much on here so that I don’t waste people time by messaging me being excited on a potential meet up to only to find out that I don’t do this or that. Again I am trying to be polite and courteous here and from what I am reading here my long profile is showing something else to members here.

As for the sugar mamma reference on my profile, again parts from my profile was from a previous swinger’s site that was sugar mammas friendly and only added it to attract more members from that other site to my profile. If Fabswingers not a fan of sugar mommas then I will remove it that part for my profile.

To be fair OP, as many have said, your profile is way too long.

You tend to repeat yourself a lot - as someone else said, you mention your skin colour about 6 times, just in the first paragraph.

The thing is that a long profile is not necessarily a problem providing that it is easy to read. Yours, I'm afraid to say, is a tough read.

I struggled to get through it, and only did so because you were asking for some help and advice.

If I were a lady or a couple receiving a message from you, I think I'd have moved on and deleted your message before getting to the end of the first paragraph.

You've also given a lot away about yourself in this thread that would put people off.

I've seen you mention a number of times about the fact that you've copied your profile from another swingers site. Now, I'm only going to assume that you mean that you've copied a profile of your own from that site, but, as with a lot of your responses here, you're demonstrating to everyone that you are a fan of 'copy and paste' - which really, REALLY doesn't go down well on fab.

If someone receives what they percieve to be a 'copy and paste' message from someone, chances are that block button is going to be clicked on very quickly.

Getting back to your profile, I would ask you if you have actually read it through yourself.

We can all sit down and type out a profile, trying to make sure we've put in all the things that we want to say, but we can get carried away, and sometimes repeat ourselves. You need to look at it objectively. How does it read to you. Try and put yourself in someone elses position. How would you respond if you came across a similar profile by someone else.

As someone else has pointed out, attractiveness is subjective and is all a matter of personal taste.

All I’d really say is if you think it represents you how you want to be represented, leave it as it is. People might not like it, but it’s better that they know they aren’t compatible with you right from the beginning. No-one likes talking for ages only to find out they see things fundamentally differently from the other person.

Thank again for replaying again. Like I said I am still updating my profile so please be kind with me as I did not want to come off mean spirited. That and I don’t think I am a worthy prize to all ladies. Though at the first version of the profile I did take in account of others here like safety words, members discretion, member limits and boundaries, members potential allergies, safe clean sex, being clean and fresh etc……

That said probably missed all that due to my long profile. Which I am still working on. So far will continue working on my profile and taking most of everyone advise on here.

Thanks for that. I thought from member on another site said safe words was either take a breather or stop. But I will change that on my profile now.

To be brutally frank, I'd suggest you delete it all and start again, only this time not copying bits from here, there and everywhere - partucualry about things you clearly have no understanding of.

Writing your profile should be something you do to describe yourself, not like doing a jigsaw.

Only you know about the things you like. Only you know what things you're good at.

Seems to me that you've heard or seen things mentioned, got tye impression they're popular and pinched bits from others that mention it.

It makes you come across as a fake

Im a single guy and noticed instantly very very few single men are welcomed on this site by couples I knew it could not be me as i had not messaged anyone but i did get contacted by couples who had "NOT LOOKING/INTERESTED IN SINGLE GUYS. I like you messaged this forum and some replies was borderline hatred replies like why come on here isnt there enough of your kind on your own site. But very surprising a fantastic couple who messaged privately said to me if you notice all the horrible replies i had recieved was almost woman. Bare in mind she and her husband was very much part of this swinging site community and had plans to keep on for next 6 months until they both retire and move abroad. Said to me The woman in swingers clubs hate single guys and make it known because they are scared of stealing the husbands and the Husbands dont say a word because they are scared the "SINGLE GUY" will tell the wife hes already met her husband in a hotel. I think its more likely the OP's account has been suspended by admin for misdemeanors ( the message you see on clicking on the profile covers this too). I have not commented on the thread and can't see the profile so the OP can't have blocked me .

Hi mate, can't read your profile atm, maybe you are re-writing it. There's been some good advice from members, my own opinion is that after speaking to many others on the site, the narrative of having good safe fun is overshadowed by the abusive messages that ladies and couples get in messages. Maybe show a friendly and considerate approach? Demands and wants are not appreciated and messages requesting your own desires outside of the members own remit are conflicting and inappropriate. Members normally state their interests, so respect those and maybe they will communicate with you? Don't let your aspirations outweigh the respect needed to meet members, cheers.

My profile has often been called demanding but it really just boils down to “have good personal hygiene, don’t be a dick to me, don’t be selfish in bed”, but his was all full of “your husband shouldn’t be in the room while we fuck and if he is he mustn’t masturbate, I’m not here for his pleasure” and even more bonkers stuff.
