Hi, me and my husband are looking to venture into try sub/dom.

We havent really decided on rolesbyet as we can both naturally swap roles in the littke we have experimented already.

My main question is. Where is the best pkace to learn avout this type of play? We have looked at fet l. But find it quite a confusing website.

Many thanks

As a site its not a great educational resource but is good for finding events and munches which helps with finding local people into the scene.

There are some good books out there, as well as other websites that offer more educational type resources, but you must remember that there is no one true way, so just because you read it doesn’t mean its right for you and your partner.

Join your local bdsm much as they will know of local events you can attend. Or some classes on what to do. Other sites will go into some more detail too.

There's nothing better than talking to people in the fetish community. Look on fet for local rope workshop events, munches and social gatherings. They are a good place to get tips and discuss kink. Join fet groups that interest you. There's a group for every kink imaginable on there lol!

It's very daunting entering the venue at first but we've always found them extremely welcoming and happy to get to know newbies.

Best thing to do is take your time and have a lot of fun experimenting.

Look into some of the BDSM checklists to help with ideas.

Not the BDSM test which suggests the role you may fit, but one that lists activities.

D/s and SM are not always linked, you can be D/s without SM and vice versa.

If you want some pointers feel free to drop us a line.
