Hi all

I have been invited to a party this week In someone's home and feeling very very nerous.

It is a random invite as I have never net the host or anyone attending. There will be the male host, a handful of couples and a few single females.

Do you think it is a good idea to go to one where I don't know anyone at all?

ask the host to provide the names of the people going, then message them just to make sure they are, and it wont only be you with a room full of males, that would be my advice, i've had a few partys now, and im quite willing to pass on there names, for the other guest to confirm what i say is true , i hope this helps

The host has offered to meet me for a drink before, or go to his place to see the venue.

He will send out the confirmed guest list the day before so I can confirm with the people who say they will attend

I wouldn't go if ur gut instinct is saying no. Have u chatted to the couple m and f on phobe cos that is a must. Just be careful hon as we got invited to a party (midweek ) round manc by a couple who it turned out was a guy charging single guys for a gangbang. The other couples mysteriously didn't turn up. Did try to message u privately to see who's the party was but we are out of ur restrictions. I could be barking up wrong tree completely and it could all be hunky dory. Hope I've not scared u but a phone conv would be my first thing. Mrs Nico

that just confirms what i was saying, its a must to talk to the people attending, just so your happy that they will be there and your not on your own with a bunch of guys, unless you want to be lol

Not surprised you're nervous! I was before my 1st party, and was going with a guy I had met before. If I was you I'd ask if I could bring somebody along (male or female) just so that you feel comfortable. This does not seem an unreasonable request, and if the host says no I'd wait for the next invite....

Have fun, Curls xx

Just from the way you word the post it's clear you aren't comfortable so I think that that answers your question.

Out of interest does the host's verifications suggest he has a history of hosting parties?

I have a theory.... if its doesnt feel right, it probably isnt right.

Trust your instincts.... if you dont you wont enjoy it anyway.

I am not saying that this guy / party is anything other than he says it is, but what matters is how comfortable you are.

The fact that you are asking suggests to me you are not at all sure...

If I don't get the guest list as promised I'll just write it off.

If it comes though and the others confirm then I'll made my decision then I think

"No, he is verified but no mention of parties"

There are plenty of profiles where it is clear from verifications that someone hosts a lot of parties, if that was the case I'd say go for it. And I know that everyone that hosts has to start somewhere but to me you start with inviting people you've met before, nit just random people.

Glasgow - ish ;-)

Well as a couple, we would not be comfy with a guest list. why would we? We have nothing less to lose than a single female. If your not comfy dont go... XxX MT

Weve just held our first party and felt a little like you do. We were nervous and worried who was going to turn up who wasnt etc.

We didnt know any of the guests but it went fantastically well.

People are generally friendly and if you can avoid the dingbats everything will go well. Dont forget-Youre in charge of what you do or dont do, and who you play with and who you dont.

Get a list of whos going from the host and go through it to make sure youre comfortable with the other guests. Do a bit of research, If you are in any doubt then say thanks but no thanks - Likewise if youre happy wth the list Dont worry relax and enjoy yourself.

If there is any doubt either take someone you can trust or have meet before if the host objects simply walk away. I have personally ONLY had invites to parties from people I have meet or through couples that have recommended me NEVER randomly

i wouldnt

I get a fair few party invites but i dont like going to parties where i have never met anyone i find it very intimidating

I would at the very least want names of some of the other women going so i can mesage them first and make sure they are going, maybe arrange to turn up at the same time and go in together, at the end of the day you only have this guys word for it others will be there

stay safe x

oh thats a shame because you look a fun lady.

trust me i was very nervous at my first party and was biting my nails etc.

now ive been told im a very confident guy but that only comes with experience.

my advice would be to go to a party with someone you know or even someone youve played with.

let him or her look after you and help get you involved. only do what your comfortable with but most of all have a drin, laugh and enjoy it.

as i said you look fine to me and id happily take you by the hand to any party.

i drink budweiser or rose champagne btw and the first ones on you.

take care x
