Invite double the number you want because you will get drop outs and no shows.

Don’t forget ice, and no party is complete without cheese and pineapple on cocktail sticks.

Managing the guest list is the hardest...ensuring reliable folk and no gatecrashers ..

Recruit a friend or two to help...

Set up a kik group (this can either be great or some fall out)

Be a good host , introduce people so they get chatting

If dancing ...music list prepared

Mattress covers etc and ask people to respect things...

Ice nibbles...bring a bottle...

Parking?

Meet in a pub first ?

Have fun ...tho I always struggle to relax if I'm hosting anything ...

I was about to reply “yep, invite me!” but then I saw you’re in N.Ireland

Make everyone swallow a small disc with a number on it. Then if any guests get tipsy and vomit behind your sofa but don't tell you about it, you can identify who it was from the disc. It was you number four!!

That ^ and maybe plan some games or ice breakers , sometimes people all just stand around in couples especially if new. It can be really hard work hosting too , be prepared, you might not relax, but I guess that depends a lot on who you invite.

Only invite people you fancy, don't let others talk you into inviting there frinds, do a geust list to send to everyone (don't want two people turning up who hate each other) also gives people the chance to chat before had

I didn’t know where this one was going. By the end though I’m assured you’re a genius
