Hi all, we were just wondering how many people on the site were into the darker side of play.

We are not talking about extreme pain but more device bondage, gags, flogging,orgasam control, suspension ect.

Also could anybody reccomend any great fetish clubs.

Nearest I can find is a new BDSM night just started at Romeos in Bristol, swing reviews of the club on here.

Fetlife has listings for Exeter groups and a monthly munch, Bristol even more so.

Similar stuff is listed on informedconsent. Try joining these sites and posting this question there for more personal experiences.

50 Shades of grey is a house wives erotic story, i do not recommend trying to copy the play scene from this book, the cover states Fiction for that reason, many of the scene are inncorrect and some highly dangerous with a newbie.

I suggest alot of research before entering 'the dark side'

There are several fetish clubs, some i've attended some i've not bothered with, i'm not sure of your location but 'twisted' in essex is by far one of the better one and great for people that aren't to sure what they are looking for.

why read the book then me and my pete have a great sex life and yet before reading the book i would of dreamt of doing fetish i only do fetish with the ladies and im a very gentle kind of lady im not into whipping teaseing please nothing wrong with it well i dont think so lol and there has been a lot of women and men who have read the book so cant be that bad

The book as a story is great but far too many people are now looking for there '50 shades' in the bedroom and it can be dangerous, just from picking up that pretty cane that won't hurt much you and swishing it at someone can damage the spine, everyone has a kinky side they just may not see it as kinky but taking notes from the book is a very bad idea, also some of the positions mentioned in the book are simply not doable. In less than 8 months this girl is subject to several bdsm play scenes, some highly dangerous, married, pregnant and supressed into a life of work and the bedroom....control freakery gone mad, you guys can have Mr Grey i'll stick with my OH :D but for the OP - fetlife is full of alot of fakes and scam artists so be careful who you speak to

Not a case of the book being bad, although I've never read it. I think that people with experience and knowledge in that area find some of the scenarios to be inaccurate.

We would to state that this thread and our intrest has nothing to do with 50 shades. We are yet to read the book and are not overly intrested in it for the same reason as someone stated, its fiction and probably wrote by someone with little expierience and more of a fantasy.

We shall certainly look into the club in Essex for some more reviews.

If you call them/email them then be sure to request a night when Mistress Vixen is playing, she does tutorials and shows including metal grinders and fire play, whilst it isn't for everyone (i don't like too much heat) it's very good to watch and you can wear as much or as little as you like so you won't be left feeling out of place. There is also a group meet in most town centres for people just getting into it, lastly stay away from collarme, it is the worst site in the world, full of fakes and perverts of the wrong kind

I've known people pay over £100 for 30 minutes of chatting with people, it's just too leary for me, if you drop me a PM i'll check out your location and let you know what's in your area or close by, alot of the ladies i speak to have thier own little play meets where couples and singles can go along and just watch what the more experienced can do and even try it out for themselves under supervision.
