I have been thinking about this recently and wanted to get a wider perspective on What makes a great eye catching picture? content, Pose, background, expression etc

In my opinion, the Women on this site rarely take a bad picture unfortunately the same can't be said for myself. To avoid adding yet another dick pic pressed against a tv remote or other household item i'm seeking your advice.

This goes for face pictures too, for those of us who aren't models.

Interested to see your replies.

Mainly that you can make out what the picture is from the thumbnail for a start.

I think because we are attuned to the female form and accessories (eg what stockings and basques etc looks like), and because they on average make more effort and are more photogenic, ladies pics work well. They are “immediate” pics.

Whereas the average guy lazily take a selfie from an odd angle in poor lighting, hence crap hard to make out results.

I do my selfies on my iPhone with a timer. Always make sure there’s no crap lying around. Take a couple in the same pose. Open/close curtains or turn lights on/off and hope for the best. Send them to hubby for quality control ....Seems to work out ok for us.

Husband does ours. He is a photographer and he like photos with good lighting (directional) and something that is provocative and makes the mind think. He likes using shape. It is very hard to do by yourself.

I meant to add, all photography is very subjective. What some may love others will hate!

It's fair to say that some people are better at taking pictures than others. Also I'm obviously biased, but I feel like the female form is just generally more photogenic?

Can't say as I take the best pictures, but we never pose for them - it's just as and when we play really.

an ideal pic would be something that shows your personality/interests and in some way offers 'promise' to the real life you

just saying...

I’ve just uploaded one of me in a kilt that I got married wearing in 2018. Then again men wearing skirts seems quite normal on here.

deepest, darkest West

Think one of the key things is to feel comfortable and at ease with yourself

Instant no no:

- untidy background

- in a toilet!! ( just why?)

- only pics of your dick. There are so many sexier parts to people than their genitalia.

But that black and white shot....well done.

I just try and make all my pics different to hopefully reflect my personality.
