Swingfest Hull

Hi all. We have our tickets booked for this event in August but have never been before. Have any of you attended? What's the situation with parking, changing facilities, drinks, clothing choices?

All advice appreciated.

i know the car park will be part of the festival so think probs best taxi or walk from hotel maybe? we just gonna walk and leave car in hotel x

There's a massive carpark across the road.

There's lockers and changing areas.

Drinks were done with tokens last year, so you bought some tokens for the evening. Saved having to carry cash, could put everything in a locker.

Clothing, wear whatever you feel confident in. I changed outfit from day to night last year.

Where is it actually held as having been there and looked on Google Maps, I can’t picture where they fit stages, marquees etc!

Their descriptive powers always "Big themselves up!" It's actually a small corner site sandwiched between the river bank, North Bridge, and the 4 way street junction. Of that site, is the main building plus a small car park which can host about a dozen cars if everyone parks sensibly. It's NOT a huge site!

The car park isn't available on the day. The marquee and stage fits in the car park area. There's plenty of room. Was food, bar, portaloos, stage, seating. There's a massive car park across the road.

Essentially, it works and is great fun!

Ok, having been and seen the description I just couldn’t think how that would all fit in the car park! But if they make it work then all good

Our first year at swingfest had tickets a while as missed last 2 years of swingfest we wanted to attend but been to Hu9 a few times a while ago till covid knackered it up lol. Back down there soon. Anyone going feel free to msg if want to x

We missed last year ticket release so got ours straight away for this year lol. Been Hu9 a few times and can't wait to experience swingfest x
