I don't feel it's down to you to tell him the reason, if you feel like it's not as it should be, then I would just very nicely explain to her, that you feel the fun has run its course, your situation has changed and you don't want to see her again and you wish her (and her partner) all the best.

Some relationships are different though, and I'm presuming that it was intended to be light-hearted and without emotional attachments. Some hot wives and their partners have no issue with emotional attachments to other parties, so in that situation unless it makes you uncomfortable, it wouldn't necessarily be an issue.

I believe you have to be honest to both of them. We are all adults and in this kind of situations you have to be prepared to deal with the risks. If she can't be honest with her partner (in my opinion ) she shouldn't be in this "lifestyle"
