VEET? Yes or no for pubic hair?

barrow in furness cumbria

I've heard of people using Veet, but I haven't really heard of how affective it is, if at all. I'm also not just looking for a solution for my bikini line, but for all of my pubic hair.

Is Veet safe to use on pubic hair? Which one do you use? How well does it work?

thanks in advance!

I've used it successfully several times on cock and balls. Only advice would be to avoid any sort of broken skin and do NOT leave it on too long!!

only the sensitive stuff. Used the basic stuff and felt like I had set my bollox on fire. Test on your sack... A small area first

I too had been thinking of this. I often use clippers for a close trim but have wanted to go totally smooth for some time. Any other suggestions would be welcome....

I use it and it is great, doesnt leave a rash like shaving does, but agree with broken skin, it kanes on cuts. It says to leave on for no more than 10 mins... But i usually leave on for 20 with no problems. Would recommend highly, though may take a couple of applications to get rid of all the hairs

Do a test patch!!!!!!!!!! I used it and I swear I removed at least two layers of skin from my lady garden. I was in agony and couldnt sit down for almost two days. I wouldn't use it ever again!

There are tons of horror stories, if you read the reviews, such as on Amazon, from Veet etc.

I have sensitive skin anyway, so would only use sensitive skin specific products, and the veet sensitive is better than their regular, as others say.

There's always home waxing, and possibly alternating between professional and self grooming sessions, so that your skin is cared for professionally sometimes, as well as experimenting with differing product brands, to see what works best for your skin.

The funniest thing I've ever read on the net is the reviews from men on Amazon

OT but if you find veet on Amazon the funniest, you've never read the picolax thread....

quote from the other thread on this

"it the female that wants to know if she can use it"

I would say no!! It does advise not to use it on the woman bits.. You can use magic cream which you can buy on ebay that is really good.. x

Try the 'SoftSheen Carson 'Magic' Razorless Cream Shave' on ebay. Available in Mild, Normal, and Ooh Ya Bastard!

Bung it on for 5 mins then scrape it off with a credit card! (best not to use a current card as no idea what it does to the magnetic strip!)
