I don't recall seeing a woman ask. I've seen couples ask

Think most single women are trying to limit/filter the amount of msgs they get to be that

concerned.

Maybe we’re missing out on great potential connections because of that?

I would assume they are more busy filtering out all the crap messages.

I've asked before, when I was relatively new. I did get some good constructive criticism.

"I would assume they are more busy filtering out all the crap messages."

Or advising others on their crap profiles.

It would be a rather entertaining dare, ladies?

Can't see the point.

Men will be saying more boob pics!

Women will sharpen their claws.

Oh, I'm so cynical

When I first joined I didn’t put any photos on for a few weeks. I was still getting more than 50 messages a day .... not sure the profile content is of great importance to many.

I do wonder if women miss good people as the dross just clogs up the inbox.

Some do,many don't.

Can't get much more interesting than that

I asked once but nobody gave a damn, so I assume that privilege it's only available for men

Yes I’ve seen threads from women asking for profile advice.

It's a lovely profile ...perfect ...I mean it ...well written, brief, gives a sense of who you are, what you like ...

No need, women get inundated regardless.

I have noticed some things women, have on their profile such as a word people who message must put in your message title is a good idea.

Also clearly stated oreferences of types they would consider meeting also when women are very clear on age range.

I have. Not so much about my profile bio but certainly about photos. I sometimes ask people when they message me if my profile bio is too long or a bit mardy.

I have a fair few friends say exactly this . It's a shame as sometimes they miss the nice messages without having to filter out the dross as you say

Would be awful if there was hypocrites about comments on others, yet not putting themselves forward for reciprocity, don’t you think?

I’ve missed loads!!! Luckily and unluckily men seem to get this and send more than one. What usually happens to me is I search a profile out and when I message I see they’ve messaged me before

Not so. The OP is asking for advice not those giving advice.

Women seem to put a million times more effort into their profile, and particularly their photos, than the average man asking for advice.

Hence there's not gonna be many genuinely constructive replies.

A woman could have a blank profile with no pictures, and she would still get inundated with messages from all the horndogs trying their luck.

I'd say the majority of men on here scatter gun generic mail to as many profiles as possible, regardless of how the woman looks or what she's written. I've recently had a speight of unsolicited messages from such profiles.... Usually 2 or 3 words..... Yaaaawn

Funnily enough, today someone messaged me to say my profile was very vague and now I’m wondering if it’s vague?? I thought it was pretty specific. Maybe I do need some profile advice

I would suspect he says that to everyone as a subtle way of suggesting he's read it...
