FabSwingers.com forum: Feel like I've hit a wall

So I understand the current situation but just feel as I'm struggling abit with this site at the moment I know its very hit and miss sometimes. I have been on and off here several times and have met some great people In the past on a old profile but seem to be struggling to even have a conversation with people on here. I do send a polite messege to people who take my interest 9 time out of 10 send a fave photo aswell just to show who I am. Maybe better when clubs open again so I can meet people face to face

It has been said plenty of times before, but here we go:

1) we are in a global pandemic, with social distancing and "stay at home" order still on in England at least

2) many people are here for actual meets, that are currently not allowed. They don't want to chat forever, as even with the light on the horizon, we still have no guarantees (despite what some people think) we will be able to meet soon. Therefore, people are less likely to even log onto here, not to mention answering any messages.

Advice: patience! Hopefully it will all go back to some sort of normal soon.

The site is a tool, a platform.

Soooo many people don't meet from messaging, they make their connections at clubs or socials and use the site to keep in touch with their new connections, to keep an eye on events, munches, club nights etc.

There's far more to fab, to the lifestyle than tens of thousands of profiles and their inbox.

If you are struggling I would suggest taking a break. stepping back and refocusing on what you really want from life and relationships with others.

I think you are maybe expecting too much?

Were in a pandemic so most people are using Fab to stay in touch with their friends.. The majority ( sensible ones) are not wanting to meet anyone. So frankly your chances of doing so are fairly low.

Just be a lurker for a bit until the lockdown eases and try your luck then I would say.

Your chances of getting a meet are microscopicly small. I've only had one meet in 12 years. There's a heck of a lot of women on here who lead you on,then will block you.Its happened to me three times in the last few days. It's not impossible of course,so I guess it's a case of how many years you are prepared to search.
